Bad Boys In Love ✔

Prologue

It was the year of grade 8 and the nerds of East Tokyo Elementary School walked the halls of the school. Their enchanting eyes hide behind large and nerdy looking glasses. Their clear skin hide behind unpopped pimples and acne. Their handsome faces hide behind their messy hair that hangs in their faces. Their group consisted of 5 boys: Ryoji Ryukai, Yu Agatsuma, Rei Todo, Akira Sakaki, and Keiichiro Minase. They are considered to be the losers of the school, the outcasts. They were picked on constantly and bullied to the point of being hospitalized. Many times they thought about ending their own lives, but something always stopped them. Someone seemed to always be there to save them. Who? They had no idea. They not once saw her face, but she seemed to be the only one who cared about their well-being.

Keeping their heads down they made their way in a group through the school hallway to their lockers, trying their best to stay out of everybody's way.

"Hi Ryoji, Yu, Rei, Akira, and Keiichiro," someone greeted them. They looked up in surprise to see a girl with long jett black hair and dark brown eyes. She smiled and waved at them in greeting. She had a cute, dimpled smile that could make anybody's face brighten right away from just looking at it. They were surprised that she said HI to them. Although, she always seemed to be the only one to say HI to them. They found it strange. She was a pretty girl. She was one of the popular girls too. They didn't understand why a popular girl like her would be talking to them. Not really sure what to say, they kept their heads down and walked away.

They walked to their first class and ignored all the insults and snide comments from the other students as they sat down in their seats. By now, they were used to the other students making fun of them. I had spent the whole of elementary school having to deal with the constant bullying from the other students. They kept their focus on their school work throughout class and by the end of class they had finished all of the work that the other students had to do for homework because they were too busy talking the whole time. When the bell rings they quickly pack their things and exit their classroom. Rushing to their lockers, so not to run into their main group of bullies.

"Hey losers," someone greets them as they get pushed backwards and their books go flying out of their hands. The boys look up in panic to see the most popular girl at school, Rika Chikamoto, along with her group of friends. Rika was the leader of the most popular group at school. She was the main bully of the school and the boys. Everybody wanted to be friends with her and get on her good side. Every guy at the school had a crush on her and the boys all had crushes on her as well.

Ryoji had more than just a crush. He was in love with Rika and yet she treated him like dirt. Despite her treating him horribly, Ryoji couldn't stop how he felt about her. He had tried many times in earlier years to tell her, but he lost his chance when the most popular boy at school asked her to be his girlfriend. Ryoji had been heartbroken when Rika said yes. The other boys weren't as heartbroken as Ryoji. They were more annoyed than they were sad. It was so typical for the popular girl to go out with the popular boy. The boys wondered if they even loved each other or if they just went out because they were both popular.

"She was talking to you losers," a boy with dark brown hair and black eyes sneered as he glared down at them. This was Hikaru Mitsubishi. He was the most popular boy in school and Rika's boyfriend. He was strong built and a complete playboy, but nevertheless he stuck to Rika like a lost puppy. He wrapped his arm around Rika's shoulders and pulled her into him. He kissed the side of her head. The boys stared at the two of them in annoyance. "What are you looking at you piece of s***?"

"Nothing," Ryoji responded looking away. Hikaru grumbled as he let go of Rika and stormed over to the boys. The boys' eyes widen when they saw him coming closer to them. Hikaru came right up in front of them and glared down at them.
