You forgive them(Alec)

"But he cheated on me Isabelle,"you said to Isabelle through the phone. She has been trying to get you back with her brother for months. You were away from the institute for three months and in that time you stayed with your best friend Magnus Bane. The only people that who stayed in contacted with from the institute was Isabelle. You couldn't bring yourself to forgive Clary or Alec. Let alone speak to them.

"Yeah but Y/N he is miserable without you,"Isabelle said which you just scoffed at. He wouldn't have been so miserable if he hadn't kissed your sister.

"I just can't bring myself to forgive him Izzy. I got to go. Bye,"you said hanging up before Isabelle could answer back. You rested your head in your hands when Magnus walked into your room.

"I need you to go to the institute for me Y/N,"Magnus said in his usual happy tone.

"No Magnus you made a promise that I would never have to go back. You know what happened the last time I was there,"you said with a broken voice but Magnus shook his head. His happy expression never leaving his face.

"Y/N you can't let that memory cloud your mind forever. I offered to get rid of it with a spell but you refused. I need you to deliver something to the shadowhunters for me,"he said but you made a face like you weren't very sure.

"Come on Y/N. For me,"he said with a slight teasing tone. After a moment of staring at Magnus you sighed before nodding your head.

"Fine. Only since you allowed me to stay here,"you said before leaving to the institute.

~Time skip~

You stood in front of the institute. You wanted something to happen to whereas you didn't have to go inside and see the people that hurt you the most. Clary but most of all Alec. You shook your head before entering the building.

The first person you saw in the building was your other friend Isabelle.

"Iz,"you called out to her. She turned around and when she saw you,she ran over to you and gave you a bone crushing hug.

"Y/N you came back. I knew you would. Alec is somewhere around here,"Isabelle said to you but you but her off by shaking your head.

"I didn't come back here for your brother Isabelle. I only came back to pick up something for Magnus and that is it,"you said with a stern voice which made Isabelle's mouth shut.

"Okay well Clary has it. So you are going to have to speak with her,"she said. You mentally groaned. You are going to have to talk with Clary. Your sister who kissed your boyfriend.

"So are you going to go talk to her,"Isabelle said.

"Why do I have to talk to her? You know what she did,"you said with a groan.

"No you think you know. Just go find Clary,"she said then walked off. You rolled your eyes before going off to find your sister.

~Time Skip to the Training Room~

You found her sitting on the floor talking to Jace.

'Funny. She messed up my relationship and now she is all cozy with Jace,'you said to yourself angrily.

"Clary,"you said which made her turn around and look at you in surprise. You made sure to wipe all emotion from your face when hers was filled with excitement.

"Y/N you came back,"she said happily getting up. She was about to hug you before you stopped her.

"No. Get away from me. I only came to get something for Magnus. Now give it to me now so I can leave,"you spat at her.

"No Y/N. You can't still be mad at me. You don't even know what really happened,"she said with her eyes tearing up but you just scoff.

"I know exactly what happened. You weren't getting enough attention from Jace so you decide to get cuddly with my boyfriend,"you spat once again at her.

"No Y/N. We have proof that Clary did not kiss Alec,"Jace said to you.

"What? What proof do you have to make me think differently,"you asked Jace.

"We have everything on camera,"he said in a low voice.

"What was a camera doing in Alec's room,"you asked.

"Well I was playing a small prank on him but that doesn't matter. You need to see the video,"Jace said to you with a small glare. You glared back.

"Fine show me this video,"you said then Jace nodded before taking you back to the station with all the computers.

"Okay here is the camera feed,"he said pressing a few buttons on the computer before a video played. You saw everything before the 'kiss'. You saw what looked like Alec and Clary talking about your birthday then you saw Alec taking the wrong step on the ladder then he fell on top on Clary. That is what made it seem like they were kissing. They weren't. Alec didn't cheat on you. You froze after the video stopped playing.

"Oh,"was all you said for a moment before turning to Clary.

"I don't know what to say,"you said with a low voice. She just smiled before wiping her tears away.

"It's okay you don't have to say anything Y/N,"Clary said before giving you a bone crushing hug.

"Ok Ok,"you said with a small chuckle.

"Whats going on here,"you hear a voice say. A voice you have not heard in three months. Alec. You turned around and looked at Alec.

"Y/N,"he said when he saw you. His voice was above a whisper but you still heard him.

"Alec,"you said. Jace and Clary turned to each other and smirked before leaving you too alone. There was a moment of silence before you spoke up.

"I'm sorry,"you said to him.

"For what Y/N,"he said showing no emotion on his face which made tears form in your eyes.

"For everything. I love you Alec and I shouldn't have assumed things. I love you and I understand if you don't want me back,"you said before a few tears fell from your eyes and moving to walk out of the training room but Alec's hand grabbed yours and brought you to him and with that he gave you a kiss. You felt all the happiness you haven't felt in months from being away from him. After he broke the kiss.

"I will never let you go Y/N. Of course I want you back,"he said with a small smile. You smirked before kissing him again.
