Chapter Six

“Bye Grandma. See you later.” I shouted out before walking out looking at my feet. I couldn’t stand these kickers or whatever.

They made me feel heavy.  I looked around to see Ramel speaking with Malakai and Hayden.

“Melly, Grandma gave us £20 each.” I handed it to him and turned to Malakai and Hayden.

“What did Grandma give you for me my little igneous rock?” Malakai asked while putting his hands on my face and squeezing.

“Hey stop!  You’re a joke. You realise that?” I said while laughing.

“Shut it metal face.”  I closed my mouth and took out my eyebrow piercing.

“What chu talking ‘bout Willis?” I said.

“Ignore him Rockelle, your braces are cute.” I turnt to see Hayden smile at me.

“Hayden...” I said

“Rockelle...” Hayden said while taking his Forreduci hat off.

“Hayden...”

“Basalt.” Malakai decided to join in.

“That aint funny ya’ll. Stop talking about rocks around me.”  I said while sighing. 

They all laughed.

“Hayden, hold up why aint you wearing uniform? What do ya’ll call it? Non School Uniform day?” I questioned.

“Ramel how do you live with this dumb f*ck? I’m in six form love...We don’t wear uniform. I weren’t wearing uniform last year either.”  Hayden said while leaning on the wall.

“I aint no dumb f*ck quite intelligent actually.”

“Rockelle...shut it and walk.” Ramel said as each of them slapped my back before walking off.

“WAIT UP.” I ran after them and hit Ramel. “Ya’ll are bullies. I’m smart aint I Ramel?”

“Hmm yeah course...”

Hayden went into his side bag and brought out some car keys before pointing it at a 4X4 BMW.

“Whose car is that?” They all ignored me. “Hello? Ay? Bonjour? Wagwarn? Answer me bitches.” I hated it when people ignored me. I got a slap at the back of my head from Ramel.

“Get in.”  Malakai said as they pushed me into the car.

“Ay this is a boomting car.” I said attempting to speak slang.

“Never again, don’t try it.”  Hayden said as he got into the driver’s seat.

“Have you gotta license Hay Hay?” I giggled slyly.

“Don’t call me that...and no...I aint gotta license. But I can drive.” Hayden while starting the car up.

“Whose car is this?” Ramel asked.

“My dad’s. He doesn’t know I have it.” Hayden said before turning to Malakai who just laughed.  

“YOUR PISSED! When Uncle DJ clocks that he’s cars gone missing he’s gonna beat your rarse black and blue.” I looked at them confused.

“Malakai...” I whispered. “AYO MALAKAI!”

“What’d you want Igneous?”

“Malakai...”

“Marble.” I kissed my teeth before asking him my question.

“What year you in Kai?” I asked while zoning out.
