"Ok we've been friends for ages how come we're only going shopping now?" Ashley says.
"I dunno, I guess it's because I've been quite busy"
"It must've been hard for you to change"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, you've lived all your life as a criminal, surely they have a certain way of living, then you come here and everyone is different. It must've hard for you to get used to all this"
"It was, but I guess I'm ok now" I smile at her.

I've come to the realisation that I can trust Ashley, she's a good friend and I hope she doesn't betray me.

"I wanna get some clothes" she says.
"Get them then" I say in a 'duh' tone

She drags me to a store and sits me down, I watch as she goes around the store picking different outfits then trying them on in the changing room. I get so bored I play a game on my phone.

"Ok, I'm done. Let me just pay then we can get you food"
"How did you know I wanted food?"
"You've got the look"
I show a confused look at her but she ignores it and walks to the counter. I see her laughing with the guy behind the counter.

Once they're done talking she comes to me and squeals.
"He gave me his number"
I shake my head at her.
"Wait, lemme see if he's alright for you"

I walk to the guy.
"Hi how can I-" he looks shocked and scared when he sees me. I've been in this store for how long and he's still scared!
I show a straight face. I straighten my posture and fold my arms.
"Erm-" he gulps.
I continue looking at him.
"Name?" I finally say.
"Pardon?"
"What's your name?" I say impatiently.
"Er Dean"
I look at him again.
"You just asked my friend out" I state.
"Sh-she's your friend"
"Yeah"
"Oh"
"Just know. If anything bad happens to her you won't find anyone worse than me" I say menacingly then leave without waiting for him to reply

I walk to Ashley who looks at me lost.
"If he's into you seriously then he would do nothing but continue being nice to you, if not then he will take back whatever he said. Now stay at this shop for 5 minutes and buy sommat else then walk out. I'm at the store next door"
"Ok?" she says still confused.

I walk to the store that seems to be selling jewellery.
"Looking for anything special?" I look up to see Ayaan.
"You work here?" I ask.
He shrugs.
"Part-time"
"Cool"
"So you interested in anything?"
"Not really, I'm just looking"
"Good, jewellery wouldn't suit you anyways"

I give him a pointed look but he smirks instead.
"Show me this ring"
He takes it out and gives it to me. It's a silver ring with a red stone, I put it on my ring finger and show it to Ayaan.
"How does it look?"
"You want me to answer that?"
"Well I did ask you"
"Er, it looks nice" he shifts uncomfortably.

I chuckle softly.
"I don't like it"
"Good because it was horrible"
"You're such a liar. Why did you tell me it looked nice then?"
"Er, you're a girl. I didn't want to hurt your feelings"
"I'm a criminal. I have no feelings"
"True. I'll remember that" he grins.

I shake my head at him but still carry on looking.
"What about this ring" he shows me a diamond ring.
I put it on and it actually looks nice. "How does it look?" I ask.
"Beautiful" he says in a daze. I raise my eyebrow at him.
He shakes his head.
"The ring looks beautiful. Are you going to buy it?"
"Maybe next time. I honestly came here to waste time"
"Why?"
"Waiting for Ashley"
"Where is she?"
"In that shop" I point to it.

Just then she comes running out in anger. She comes to us, huffs and folds her arms. I hide a smile Ayaan looks confused though. He looks like a lost puppy.

"What's wrong Ashley?" He asks.
I shake my head. Shouldn't have said that mate.
"Nothing!" She snaps.
He looks taken back, he looks at me nervously but I just tighten my lips to stop laughing.
"I just asked"
"Well you don't need to! Why are you being nice for huh? All men are the same, you just fake everything don't you?" She points a finger at him. She pokes his chest making him stumble back in shock. He looks so confused, it's hilarious. I have to confess he looks adorable like that.
