-Chapter Thirteen[p2] Ooh, it's a Horror story and this is the thirteenth chapter, so I thought, I'll stick with a mean theme and separate it into three parts. I hope that you enjoy every part, every chapter, every line. I really do. Your support means the world to me. I wish I had more chapters to dedicate to you all. Chapter Thirteen [Part Two]

“Joe, let’s get outta here.” Cole taps the side of him, but finds he hits nothing but air.

“Joe?” Natalie, fearing the worst, feels her already fragile heart instantaneously pumps double its speed.

 

Where did he go?

Cole jumps out of his seat and rushes for the door, clutching onto Natalie’s wrist with a vice-like grip and tugging her onwards.

 

From their experiences, time is the most precious thing; it is absolutely vital that they make every second count.

            “Really? A Jacuzzi?” Lana relaxes back into her seat, giggling.

“I’m not kidding.” He slaps his free hand onto her thigh, and winks, “We’ve got a sauna, too.”

It’s not long before they arrive at his oversized home; every corner looms over Joe and his date, and every tropical plant, every tree waves softly with the winter wind. The glistening water fountain is always lit up during the night, standing in front of the giant, wooden entrance of the villa, almost guarding the place and looking around, Joe notices that every window shows darkness.

No one’s home.

Perfect.

Just as they exit the warmth of his car, snow starts to slowly fall. Joe’s father, the owner of a huge corporate business, an insanely-popular one, at that, is responsible for all these luxuries. Money comes in handy when it comes to girls, Joe discovered not long ago. Since then, he’s been using that to his fullest advantage and tonight, he is sure it will get him all the way with Lana.

He empties his hands to her and opens the door, allowing her inside first to marvel at the wonder that is the interior of his home and shuts the door quietly behind them.

Ah, he sighs, no interruptions...

BUZZ, BUZZ. BUZZ, BUZZ.

“Is that a text or a call?” Joe rolls his eyes, while the phone vibrates in her palms. She looks at the screen slowly, then more closely, squinting, then even tilts it, straining and still is struggling to make out what it is even after the ‘buzzing’ has finally stopped,

 “I...don’t know.” She pouts, dopey as anything.

He likes her this way, though.

It’s easier.

            Meanwhile, pulling sloppily out of his parking space and speeding out onto the highway, only to receive a collection of car horns, yelling and even a few “finger signs” that spoke more words than actual speech, is a frantic Cole and a hysterical Natalie,
