CHAPTER THIRTY FIVE: Limbo

I'm trapped here!

A place with hundreds of doors and each door I enter I am thrown back into my past.

What is this place? How can I get out of here?

I took a deep breath before opening another door again. Ano na naman kayang nasa ka likuran nito? Another childhood memory?

Pagpasok ko I found myself in my race car. This is the time when I had my accident. Nothing is more traumatizing that experiencing this moment over and over again. I braced myself for another impact. After I crashed my car I was back again in the dark place with a lot of doors.

I cursed. What are my chances of finding the right door that will lead me out of this place? I am starting to lose hope.

"Help! Somebody please help me!!!" I shouted but the only thing that answered me back is the echo of my own voice.

I decided to try another door. Pagbukas ko I found myself in another dark place but this place is much different than where I was before. There is this eerie atmosphere surrounding this place. I started walking even though walking seems futile because everywhere I look there is only darkness.

I stop...

I think I just heard some voices. I close my eyes.

"Why are you doing this?" Said a female voice. Wait a minute?! Isn't that Nayeli?

"Because I want to get even Nayeli! Can't you see?! My life was cut short because my step father killed me, my little sisters and my mother. I can still hear their screams inside my head. It doesn't stop and it will only stop once I killed that man!" A man's voice said.

"Sa palagay mo ba matatahimik ka na Zack if you kill him? This is not the right way. May batas tayo Zack and I can't kill someone." Nayeli said. Si Zack yung first love ni Nayi na ikinuwento sa akin ng Lola nya at ng mommy nya diba? Pero bakit nandito itong scene na ito sa lugar na ito? As far as I know lahat ng eksena sa mga pintong napasok ko were part of my past and this isn't my past. This is Nayeli's past. Her past that she fears the most.

"Sino naman may sabi sayong I will use your body to kill someone?" Sabi nung Zack.

"Then what do you want from me?" Nayeli asks. Her voice shaking.

"Just your soul. He said if I offer him a soul he could brought me back to life." Sagot nung Zack.

"Who told you that?" Nayi asks. There was a moment of silence. I can feel my heart racing. I don't like where their conversation is heading.

"Just him." Zack finally replied. "You love me right? Then do this for me Nayeli. Die for me."

I heard Nayeli screamed. My eyes flung wide open and I started running towards where her scream came from.

I saw two figure in the dark in front of me. I move closer and saw that Nayeli is one of them and the other one is choking her.

"Zack...ta..ma...na." Nayi pleaded, her voice strained. She is holding Zack's hand on her neck and tries to remove it.

"If you love me you will die for me! Just die Nayeli. Just die for me." Zack said while choking her.

I saw Nayeli's tears falling as she beg for Zack to stop. So this is the past she's running away from.

"Nayi!!!" I called then to my susprise she looks at me.
