CHAPTER THIRTY NINE: Escape

Nayeli

"Tyler!" I exclaimed then I run towards him and hug him. "Nakita din kita." I said while crying. Hinimas ni Tyler yung buhok ko.

"I'm glad you came. I thought di na ako makakalabas dito." He said. I look at his face. I never thought how much I miss him already.

"Bakit ba kasi ang tigas tigas ng ulo mo?" I said then I wipe my tears.

"I'm sorry." He said. "We should hurry up. Our time is almost up."

I nodded my head but when I look at Tyler again I noticed something different.

His eyes.

They're different.

I mean there is nothing wrong with how they look. They are still perfectly the same but the way he looks at me...parang kakaiba.

"Hand me the candle Nayeli and let's get out of here." He said while tyring to get the candle from me.

"Himala. Hindi mo yata ako tinatawag sa nickname ko ngayon." I said with narrowed eyes. Tyler laughs. I have a bad feeling about this.

"Kailangan pa ba nun? I could always call you by your first name diba?" He said making me more suspicious. "Give me the candle now Nayeli."

I stepped back.

"Tyler hates calling me by my first name. He said it feels like saying that he loves me everyday. Who are you?" I ask.

He smiled creepily at me then lumapit sya sa akin. He grabs my right wrist and squeeze it tightly.

"I'm your worst nightmare." He whispered then nagbago yung anyo nya. He turned into Zack.

I screamed.

Tyler

I sat and just stared at her face. How can I get out of this place? How long am I here anyway? Hindi ko na alam. The longer I stay here the weaker I feel.

Napatayo ako bigla when I heard a scream. It sounded like Nayeli. Paglingon ko sa harap ko wala na yung figure ni Nayeli na nakatayo kanina sa may pedestrian lane.

"Tyler!!!!!" The voice shouted.

It's definitely her! Hindi ako pwedeng magkamali! I went out of the room and run outside. I don't care if it's another memory but I will find her no matter what.

But how? There are hundreds of doors in here!

"Nayi!!! I'm coming! Hang in there!" I shouted then I noticed the red string that is attached on my finger.

That's it! I could always follow it to find her!

I started running to where the red string is heading. I stopped in front of a door. Mukhang it went under it. I tried to open the door but it's locked.

Nayi screamed again.

"Nayi!!!!" I called then I slammed my fists on the door. "Open up!!!"

When door didn't open I barged my way in then I saw this red human like being with huge horns grabbing Nayi's arm. The thing looks at me and growled.

"Nayi!" I called making her look at me.

"Tyler!"

I run towards her but the demon like being pushed me aside and I hit an invisible wall.

"Give me that candle!" It said to Nayi.

"No!" Nayi shouted then she raised her other hand to pull herself away from the monster's grasp.
