"Bebe tara dito ayusin natin yung buhok mo!" Tawag ni Alden kay Baste. Nasa broadway sila at may 30 minutes pa sila before mag-air ang EB.
"Kuya di punta dito Ate Maine?"
"Bakit miss mo na si Ate Maine mo?"
"De may regalo kasi ako sa kanya. Mansari namin ngayon."
"Huh?" Nagtatakang tanong ni Alden. Lumapit si Sam at nakipag-hi five kay Baste at narinig nya yung sinabi nito.
"Baste ready na yung gift mo kay Ate Maine mo?"
"Hmm-hmm. Nandun kay Mama. Mama regalo ko kay Ate Maine asan naaaa." Baste hurriedly went to his Mom and asked for the gift while Alden asked Sam about that "mansari".
"Oy anong monthsary sinasabi nun?"
"Monthsary ng BasDub ngayon. Ano ba di ka informed papi?"
"Kabaliwan nyo na naman. Sino nakaisip?"
"Si Meng mismo. Binigay na nga niya regalo niya kahapon kay Baste eh. Galing kami sa kanila kagabi."
"Ha? Sino- sino kayo?"
"Ako, si Patring, siya tas si Oreo at Pat. Yan kasi, photoshoot pa more."
Natawa naman si Alden sa pang-aasar ni Sam. Naglagari na naman kasi siya ng trabaho kahapon.
"E ano regalo niya kay Baste kahapon?"
"Pinagbake niya lang naman ng cake. Mas malaki sa Mainebow cake mo."
It's been so long since Maine baked something for him. Not that he complains, but he really want Maine cooking for her. Kaya nagulat siya ng pinagbake nito si Baste.
"O anong lasa?"
"Pare, the best. May talent pala talaga sa kusina 'yang Menggay mo. Walang laban si Chef Bae."
Naputol ang pag-uusap nila ng nakarinig sila ng ingay sa labas. Nandyan na daw si Maine.
The two went out at naabutan nila si Baste na yakap-yakap si Maine. She showered him with kisses at pinangigigilan niya yung bata.
"Okay 1-0 paps, in favor of Baste." Sam joked, nabatukan tuloy siya ni Alden.
"Hi sweetpea! O ano yang hawak mo?" Maine was wearing a simple plaid top and leggings and looked simply beautiful. She waved at them and held Baste's hand to walk inside the host's room.
"Gift ko sayo Ate Maine. Happy mansari!" Maine awed at the kid's sweetness. She knew the kid doesn't have any idea with monthsaries but he still made an effort to give her a gift.
"Talaga gift for me? Pwede ko na ba buksan?" Maine was about to open it when Baste did it for her. Baste loved opening gifts. Nang nabuksan na, she saw a shirt with a very cute fan art on it.
Tinuro ni Baste yung figure sa shirt. "Eto Baste, tapos ikaw to. Ganda diba?"
Sa sobrang tuwa ni Maine niyakap at kiniss niya ulit si Baste. "I'll wear this today! I love you, Baste." She gave him another hug.
"Paps may yakap, kiss at I love you pa. 4-0 na standing." Siniko ni Alden si Sam sa kakulitan nito.
Lumapit naman yung Mama ni Baste and handed her the same shirt fit for Baste. "Siya mismo pumili niyan Meng."
"Aww, talaga Ate? O Baste suot mo to ha? Para parehas tayo ng damit!"
Sam whispered again to Alden. "Paps, 5-0. Wala na, Bas-Meng na to."
The hosts went to the audience to start the show. The Dabarkads waved to the audience and they greeted them back with a loud cheer. Maine was holding Baste's hand and guided him to join them.
"Wow naman ang cute ni Baste at Maine oh! Baste, sino nagbigay ng tshirt mo?" Pauleen asked the kid.
"Baste bigay Ate Maine eto." The kid answered while pointing on his and Maine's shirt. "Mansari namin Yaya Dub."
"Uy oh monthsary pala ng BasDub ngayon! Kiss mo naman si Ate Maine mo dali!"
Baste hugged his Ate Maine and gave her a kiss. Everyone awed with the two's cuteness.
"Pano yan paps, 6-0." Natatawang inasar na naman ni Sam si Alden. But instead of being annoyed, he just looked at Baste and Maine and his thought wondered about the future. He thought, maybe 7 years from now they'll have their own little RJ too that he'll share attention with Maine. Baste looked like his little version, and seeing him with Maine touches his heart and all he can feel is happiness.
"Oy 'koy kanina ka pa nakangiti dyan. Para kang baliw!" They were now on the hosts room and Maine's feeding Baste. Alden just stared with the two having that big smile plastered on his face.
"Wala lang. Masama ba ngumiti?"
"Ang creepy mo kasi Faulkerson! Diba Baste? Kuya Alden looks crazy when he's smiling like that. See oh!"
"Kuya Alden is gwapo like me." Baste said and posed with a "pogi sign".
"See? Pogi daw kami ni Baste. Pakiss nga bebe!" He kissed Baste on the cheek and stole a kiss too on Maine.
"Hoy bat pati ako! Si Baste lang kinikiss mo diba?"
"6-1" Alden heard Sam teased. He laughed at him and shooed him away.
"Anong pinagsasabing 6-1 nun ni bumbay? Ano na namang trip nyo?"
Alden continued feeding Baste before answering Maine. "Inaasar kasi ako ni Sam. Kota na daw ang BasDub. Kanina pa kasi nakaka-breezy sayo 'tong chikiting na 'to."
"E monthsary kasi namin eh! Hahaha. Some people tagged me on twitter yesterday na monthsary daw namin ngayon so sinabi ko kay Baste nung nasa kanila kami kahapon. Busy mo kasi, si Baste nalang tuloy dinate ko."
"Ang daya nga e sya may cake, tas mas malaki daw kesa sa Mainebow Cake ko tapos ako wala." Alden pouted like a kid who lost his lollipop. Maine kissed the tip of his nose and pinched his cheeks.
"Cute naman ng bebe RJ na 'yan oh. Nagseselos kay Baste. Hahahaha. I made you a cake too. Nasa ref, pinatago ko kay Patring kanina."
His face lit up with the mention of cake. "Really? You baked one for me?"
"Yup. But it's not as big as Baste's cake ha." Baste on the other hand finished his food and made his way to his mom.
"Yey, may cake din si RJ!" Alden squealed.
"Para kang baby hahaha."
"Baby mo." He moved closer and kissed her on the nose. He also gave another one on both cheeks and last on her forehead. Maine laughed with Alden as she felt conscious with his sweetness.
"Ano ka ba may makakita satin dito ang landi mo na naman."
"Wala naman eh. Tsaka gusto mo din naman eh. Di ka nga umaangal." He received a lazy punch from her and he answered with a long, breathtaking kiss. "Love you, Meng."
"Cheesy mo Faulkerson! Pero, love you too."
"Richard Faulkerson Jr, 3 points!!!" Sam shouted and Maine can't help but to blush.
Alden tried to chase Sam but he already hid somewhere. "Hoy bumbay lagot ka sakin pag nahanap kita!"
"Okay lang nakakiss ka naman eh!"
