Where do i go from here? what is there even to do?

Hot tears soaked my face as i ran away from darkness

"You cannot run from this, (Y/N)" his voice echoed through the now empty village, when only moments ago everyone i knew and loved walked, but now they lie covered in their own blood.

I knew my time was coming, but i never once imagined i would go like this, in the hands of my ex lover.

I felt a pain under my ribs from running, so i slowed and ran into a sheet house that once was occupied and prayed he wouldn't find me. "i'm not going to hurt you" Kylo Ren's voice said, much closer than before.

My eyes closed and i imagined the man i once knew... I imagined ben, and his velvet voice whispering in my ear, his booming laugh that made anyone around him smile, the way his lips felt on mine in the shinning moon light. That was the man i once knew, but still loved. Ben would protect me from everything

But this isnt ben, this is some cruel man who will do anything and everything to get his way. i kept telling myself that as i hear his footsteps coming closer. My eyes still shut, i curled myself into a ball against the back of the small home.

"(Y/N)" a burning tear ran down my cheek as i slowly opened my eyes. He stood tall, so much taller than i remembered. My heart pounded as second passed by. his face looked more hallowed, his eyes sunken in with dark circles under them, but i could not ignore how beautiful he still was. i could tell a difference in his eyes, they were dark and made me shudder

"Kylo Ren" i spat

His corner lip pulled up slightly and i stood. "I thought you had left this place" he said calmly while looking around the small room.

"This place was once your home" i growled feeling more confident seeing his familiar but not so familiar face.

A small laugh left his lips and his eyes found mine again

My heart shattered hearing Ben's laugh come out of this this monster, and i lost control. "Please, Ben" i pleaded. His eye slightly twitched and his face turned in anger and sadness from what i could see, and at that moment i knew he was still here

"You people never give up" he said coldly.

"im not people, remember what we had, Ben" i take a step closer to him "just remember" his eyes followed my every move.

i was now only three feet away from him. i could see his eyes clearer and i noticed the change from dark to soft

This could only go two ways, he would kill me in one swift motion, or he could come back to us. But i knew the that would not happen, and my body would lie on the ground amongst the other innocent who have fallen.

i took another step forward but he stepped back. i then took another step but he did not move this time. i could just hear his heart pounding under all the black clothing, and his warm breath i could feel as he looked down at me.

his face was emotionless but his eyes held so much that have been kept inside over the years he has been dark. "Ben is gone"

"Ben come back to me, we can leave all this behind" i choked out

before thinking much more, i stood tall and smashed my lips on his.

Seconds passed and i felt him relax for a moment, but he kissed back. My heart exploded, i was so close to having him back' my hand went into his hair as i tried to remind him of the amazing time we spent together and what we had. Ben's hand held my waist as he pulled me closer.

he pulled away and rested his forehead on mine. i watched his eyes in desperation

a tear fell from his eye "i'm sorry, (Y/N)"

my eyes widened as the last thing i saw was his pained face light up in red as his lightsaber stabbed through me

there was no saving Ben...
