I feel like I should help her out, hehe. She's a real sweetheart losing hope in her writing and this seems like a good place to advertise her. So please, if you guys get the time, check her out. She's got one story and it's great.

One

Cole can no longer keep his eyes open. It is too hard to fight it. He is slipping... Slowly, everything goes dark.

When the Blakes say ‘fancy’, they mean ‘fancy’.

The infamous, dark-eyed Mr Blake sits directly across from a nervous looking Cole. He adjusts his designer blazer, as if asserting it at Cole, as if he was putting even more emphasis on how important he is. Cole already knows how important this man is, and he knows that as challenging as it will be, what with his over-judgementmal and famously fierce attitude, he must win Mr. Blake over. That is if Cole wants to continue "this...whatever you call it," - as Mr Blake regularly calls it - with Gwyneth, his beautiful daughter.

The equally powerful Mrs Blake smiles gently at the waiter who is pouring their table champagne, and with pale dainty fingers, one extravagantly dressed in a rock so big that it probably was a health hazard for her finger, tucks a strand of  fair hair behind her equally extravagantly dressed ear.

To Cole Hart, his girlfriend, dressed in a revealing V-neck red gown, is glowing. He enjoys this rare time that her long, golden-blonde hair is out of her face and her makeup is almost nothing. On this night, she has never looked more divine,

“You look even more incredible tonight than usual, Gwyneth.” She blushes, tries to hide it behind a napkin but fails; instead, she ends up giggling quietly into it,

“I told you, already... It’s okay to call me Gwen in front of my parents.” Gwen takes his hand and squeezes it. Mr Blake gives Cole a glare, who immediately shies away from Gwen's hand, but gives her a smile with hopeful eyes.

He grabs a napkin from underneath his cutlery and wipes his forehead, breathing out loudly and relaxing a little more in his chair, “Awesome, because that whole...” He struggles for a word, “...thing doesn’t really work for me.” He drawls, in his regular, lazy accent.

“I think you’d make a great...” Gwen giggles, still blushing. She can't help herself around Cole. He makes her feel different, special, and he always lets her know that she is the only one. 'Only you, always,' had become almost a catch-phrase between the two.

“Oh, you do?” They talk over each other, interjecting at different times and laughing in between. She makes him happy, and he is glad to return the favour.

Love...

The whole place is completely buzzing. Luckily, due to the sheer significance of the Blakes, they've been awarded seats in the private lounge, where in the background, soft, slow violins provide a calm atmosphere and  while general chatter fills the main restaurant. Every corner of the lounge is decorated – there is not a table without a glistening chandelier, a single corner without a masterpiece sculpture or brilliant painting, and the lounge is especially filled with a large array of colourful flowers – be it the red roses by the head waiter to the many orchids on either side of the door - which all smell as sweetly as they look.

Their private young waiter is asking for Mr and Mrs Blake’s order when suddenly, Mr Blake turns to Cole,

“Cole, what will you have to drink?”
