We Meet Again

Ryuu's POV

It's been a few months since the war has been going on. We don't know who is winning, but we try hard to win. They have sent assassination on Shinoa every day, but they weren't very skilled.

"That's..it. Let's end this once and for all." Said Shinoa.

"I'll gather everyone." Said Mari.

"Wait! I have news.." Said a tired vampire.

"What is it?" Said Shinoa.

"The ranked vampires has gotten magical weapons that can kill us. I saw one of them use it when my group was outside." Said the vampire.

"Tch..how did they even make those weapons? Maybe.. How did they obtain them?" Said Shinoa.

"I can help your problem, Shinoa." Said the Mayor.

"How? You're giving us guns? Some of those weapons might be long range as well." Said Shinoa.

"I know a certain someone." Said Mayor.

"Could it be the professor?" Said Makoto.

"Yes..How?" Said the mayor.

"How? Isn't he standing near the door?" Said Kohaku.

"Ah..right. Professor, bring them the weapons." Said the mayor.

The professor walked in and pushed a cart with the weapons. As he pushed it, he looked at us and looked away.

"I'm sorry boys...about them." Said the professor.

"No need. We'll bring them back. Just you watch."

"I've actually experimented with weapons so that the vampires can't regenerate. Try it out on yourselves." Said Professor.

"How does one make a weapon like that?" Said Shinoa.

"Science. I would explain, but science." Said professor.

Shinoa tried out the weapon and cut her arm then it bled. She waited for a couple of minutes and licked the blood off.

"Hmm.. Made enough for everyone?" Said Shinoa.

"Everyone is already armed. We'll be going now." Said Mayor.

The mayor and the professor left then grabbed the swords.

"Let's end this war, shall we?" Said Shinoa.

"Yes!" We yelled.

"But I wanted to try this out.."

"Ryuu, you might kill a citizen if you use that. I know what you'll be trying and I'll be going you." Said Makoto.

"Count me in! I want to see." Said Kohaku.

"Then outside the city."

"What are you boys trying out?" Said Raku.

"Just..this sword."

"Didn't Shinoa already tested it on her arm?" Said Kris.

"No. Something different."

We were outside the city and waiting.

"We're outside. What are you waiting for?" Said Makoto.

"This."

An assassin came out of the bush and ran towards us. The distance between us is far so I swung my sword which became destructive swing. The assassin flew back and I stabbed her.
