Josh's POV
I sat at the small round table at starbucks waiting for Tyler. It was 3:34 and he wasn't here. He hasn't even texted either. Maybe he decided not to come. Or there's another starbucks by a belk and a home depot.

I sipped my coffee and impatiently tapped my fingers against the table. I really hope Tyler shows.

"H-hi," a familiar voice spoke beside me. I smiled instantly and he sat in front of me.

"Hey," I greeted cheerfully.

"Sorry I was late, I um I had to walk my dog first," the beautiful boy explained nervously.

"It's okay, I just got here a couple minutes ago anyway. I didn't know you had a dog though."

"Um," he looked down at the table and took a deep breath.

"I like your cardigan," I started, trying to create conversation.

"Thanks," Tyler blushed, staring at his lap.

"I'm gonna go get something real quick," he said before leaving. I sipped my coffee and waited a few minutes before Tyler came back with a green tea frappuccino.

"When's your birthday," I wondered.

"december first, you?"

"june 18," Tyler looked up and squinted his eyes at me.

"Oh, so you're a gemini," he asked, his tone laced with disgust.

"Yes," I sighed rolling my eyes with a smirk.

"I don't think we should be friends anymore," Tyler said, pouting.

"I think you're right," I said, frowning. "You should be my boyfriend instead."

"I should," Tyler nodded as his cheeks became rosy.

"Alright boyfriend," I said, causing Tyler to grin widely.

"Alright," he replied, still smiling.
