"Talk to him and then ask for your things. Simple." she shrugged and picked up her enormous burger. "Chances are, he was just pissed that night and he's too busy at work that's why he couldn't find time to see you and give you your stuff back."

"Just apologize and say that you're repenting for your sins." Noelle mumbled as she ate.

The sound from the speaker inside the room signaled the end of class. It was my last subject for today and I've finally made up my mind.

I'm going to see him. I have other cards but I feel impaired without my driver's license.

I dialed Noelle's number as soon as the professor left the room. A few block mates waved me goodbye and I politely returned the favor as I walked out of the room.

My jaw dropped when I saw him standing across the room. He was frowning until his eyes landed on me. I stilled in front of the door way. I can't move.

He's not wearing his usual corporate attire. He looked laid back with his long sleeved sweater and fitted dark pants. He looked hot, in and out of his suit.

I gulped, hard, as he walked towards me. His face was blank but his dark eyes were piercing right at me. It took me a lot not to flinch.

"G—" I cleared my throat and tried to grin like a normal person, though I'm pretty sure I most likely looked like I was in pain. "Grant."

"Hey," he was looking straight in my eyes when he said it. My knees almost gave up. He looked even more dazzling up close. It's too much. He's too much.

Grant cut me from being dazzled when he raised his hand.

I took my time appreciating my driver's license.

It was taken when I was sixteen. I looked like a kid. Embarrassment passed by my brain when I thought of Grant staring at my picture.

He was just out of town! Hindi niya ako iniiwasan on purpose!

"Hindi ka galit sa akin?" my eyes were sparkling as I looked at him.

"No. I'm not mad at you." he shook his head.

Pinili kong wag sumagot. Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay. He sighed. "I was pissed." his eyes squinted as he looked at me with scrutiny. "You're very stubborn."

That earned him a proud grin from me. I consider my stubbornness a redeeming quality, that's why I don't get offended whenever I'm being called for it.

"Did you bring your car?" tanong ni Grant. My grin faded into a smile. I shook my head in reply.

He reached for my bag ang swiftly managed to take it from me. I was too busy staring to stop him. "Come, I'll drive you home."
