"I choose you, pikachu!" Peyton said as she dropped her bags and gave me a hug. "I was never going to choose him over you. I just wanted to worry you and do something emotional like this. He didn't even break up with me. He said he admired how much I cared to keep our friendship." She said.
"Peyt, this us amazing. Omg I hate you so much. I was like depressed and shit like that."
Phil walked down the hallway towards us. "You're back?" He asked.
"No, I'm Peyton." She said sarcastically. I helped her take her stuff upstairs and into her room.
"Have fun with your family and Andrew?" I asked.
"It was was colder there than it is here. But I had fun. I saw Cadence. She said that she was going to be moving up here in a few months." She replied.
"Oh really? That's good I guess. She was always a fun one." We unpacked her things and sat around lazily talking for a while until we got bored. I was glad I had my best friend back.
