One ring.
Two rings.
Then he picks up.

"Hello?" I hear him say.

"Carson?" I ask.

"Yeah. What's up?"

"Come over."

"Now?"

"Yea."

"Why?"

"I-I need a favor from you. Just come over."

"I'll be there in five." Then he hangs up.

I need someone to drive me over to Luke's. But there's no one I can call and I can't ask Noel or my mum. Carson is the next best thing.

He finally shows up and runs to my door step. He rings the bell once and I'm out the door.

"Let's go." I say.

"Do you care to explain what is going on?" He asks.

"Yeah. I have no one to drive me around places."

"Where do you want to go?"

"To Luke's"

"Kiara." Carson whines.

"Carson." I mimic.

"Why his place? And why can't you call him to pick me up? Come over with me."

"No."

"No? I don't even get an explanation? Just no."

"Exactly. Now get in the car so we can leave." He lets out a groan then starts driving. We're silent the whole car ride until he decides to speak.

"So are you ever going to trust me again and want to hang out?" He asks me.

"Nope." I answer plainly.

"Why?"

"What's the point of hanging out if I don't trust you. I can surround myself with better people than you."

"Yeah, that's why you called me up. Because you have better people."

I don't respond to him.

"How can I prove to you that I'm trustworthy again?" He asks.

"That's something for you to figure out."

"It's kinda hard when you're shutting me out and pushing me away."

"Deal with it. That's your problem not mine." I'm honesty being really bitchy to him especially considering he dropped whatever he was doing just to come and help me. He didn't even know what I want but he still wanted to help.
