I still couldn't get into Y/N's cave to talk to them. I was worried that they were gonna do something bad to themselves.
It'd been a day since I'd last tried to get in, and I still had no progress on getting into the cave. I couldn't hear anything from inside of the cave except for movement every now and then.
I knew Y/N was probably starving and going absolutely feral in there. If I could get in, chances were I'd get attacked. I couldn't quite understand why they had locked themselves into the cave aside from guilt.
But right now I was sitting in my shop, hoping to see those familiar eyes from the water. I saw something in the water move and was hoping it was my Y/N. (I'm crying already)
Instead a different familiar face popped out of the hole...

I couldn't stay above the water so I had convinced my directors to let me go back down to the Black site.
The first person I saw was Sebastian, surprisingly no Y/N though. Sebastian looked pretty shaken up though. I could tell something had happened after my death.

I was happy to see that at least Phoenix was somehow still alive, I didn't have the time to question it before my body reacted on it's own and I pulled her out of the water.
I could tell she could see my concern. "What happened?" She asked. "Y/N locked themselves into their cave and I can't get in there to help them and I don't-" I couldn't stop my own rambling, most of my speaking not being understandable.
"Stop, Sebastian. Just calm down for a second and then explain" she interrupted me with that signature tone of care. She let me take a second to breath before I could clearly explain without sounding like I was on the verge of a breakdown.
After I'd managed to explain she seemed utterly flabbergasted. I couldn't even say anything before she was back into the water. I decided to follow just to see what she was doing.
I watched her pull out a... Wait is that an explosive?!

My insane hunger had died down a little and I could barely bring myself to move. I knew it was probably the fact it was becoming winter and I already gained winter weight. But I wasn't planning to make it through winter.
I already had my selected rock and the ring Sebastian had given me. I was prepared to off myself. I couldn't help, but pause though. I could've sworn I heard something.
It was all silent until I heard something quiet from under the boulder I'd used to block the entrance.

BOOM
Before I could really react something under the boulder exploded and the giant rock basically shattered.
Luckily I'd been across the cave from it. I watched the water still. I couldn't quite see into the water from my position, but when a scarred and bruised up hand amerged from the water I knew who it was immediately.
I tried to make sense of how Phoenix was back, she even still had the small silver ring I'd found in a drawer and gave to her. (Off camera mining)
I watched as she pulled herself up onto the cave floor in silent shock. Sebastian followed shortly after.
The first thing Sebastian did was tackle hug me. Phoenix was awkwardly standing there waiting for us to get off each other.
After enough time of being practically stuck together we let go of each other, then they both looked at the rock I'd dropped. It took a second before they realized what I'd been planning to do.
There was such a long and awkward pause of them processing that I had planned to do that to myself. They could tell cause after the rock they'd looked at the wall I'd carved a final message into.
It got dead silent, I could hear the outside screams of Expendables with how quiet it was. Eventually Sebastian looked at me and the first thing he did was he seemed to hesitantly cling onto me. I could tell Phoenix was still processing.
Before I could react I had both of them clinging to me. I couldn't quite grasp why these two even cared for me. My instincts told me I shouldn't care about anything except survival, yet I found myself hugging back.
I couldn't believe it but I was crying too. Never once in my time of being outside of this hellhole did I think I'd ever find love, let alone in a place like this instead of the ocean. Well technically we're just below the ocean, much more than sirens are meant to go.
There was this long comfortable silence of us hugging onto each other before I heard a small ding from something on Phoenix, it was something I'd heard before, it was the ding that she always had to leave shortly after receiving.
I felt kinda sad but simply watched as she checked the ding. "That'll have to wait" she said. Sebastian and I were fucking flabbergasted, she'd never said that before. I only cried harder at the thought of her caring enough about me to go against her duties to stay by me in a time like this.
Eventually after a while of being tangled up together, Sebastian had fallen asleep, shortly followed by Phoenix, and lastly, I went lights out. We were curled together fairly tightly.
I loved my bestfriend and my Sebastian.
