I slowly woke up. My shoulder hurt and my body felt lighter. I looked around for a second before my eyes landed on Phoenix who was seated in a office chair reading a book. She didn't notice I was awake and frankly speaking she seemed pretty into that book. I adjusted, or atleast tried to.

I looked around more, I was in one of the side room in the hallways. I would of slithered away if it wasn't for my shoulder pain.

I lifted my upper body up with a groan which caught Phoenix's attention. She was staring at me in silence and it felt like a staring contest. I was weirdly nervous around her.

"You good?" She asked as she put a book mark into her book and set it down. "Yea?" I replied in a confused tone as I properly sat up on my tail. I coughed slightly as she seemed to just watch me get up.

My fin hurt, like I'd been dragged along the floor. I looked to my tail and it had a few bandaged parts on it. "I had to drag you here since you passed out in the middle of the hallway." She explained, almost like she was reading my mind.

I coughed a little. "Down"she said in a commanding tone. I listened and just laid back down on my back. I felt the aching sore spots from having a harpoon shot through me which I was kinda mad about.

She continued with her book while I just stared at the ceiling in silence. My head hurt as I rolled onto my side to look at Phoenix. I was hungry again.

She glanced at me before she threw the person who had shot me's arm at me, or at least it was one of the ones from that group- wait did she hunt them down for me or something? Whatever.

I grabbed the arm and started to munch on it, when I bit something like metal. The person had a silver ring on so I took it. I ate the bone and all, only thing left was the blood on me. " do you always eat so messily?" Phoenix asked while seemingly grabbing something. "The swimming usually washes it off." I replied as I adjusted my position.

Before I could continue I had a towel thrown into my face. "Well you ain't gonna be swimming for a second" she said before going back to reading. I was taking in her appearance more. I was only now noticing all the scars and bandaged she had on her.

She wore a tight black shirt and poofy gray pants, along with her gear of course, I kinda wanted to see her without it- the gear, without the gear. (Little freaks ಥ_ಥ)

She looked back at me and caught me staring. I immediately looked away and at the room around instead, embarrassed by being caught. I hadn't noticed how put together this room was before when I had first woken up.

There was a table with diving gear on it, presumably Phoenix's diving gear. Her harpoon gun was also on the table. I heard a noise and Phoenix seemed to hear it too. She got up and grabbed her harpoon gun then sat back down.

I watched the door at the end of my tail. The door handle twisted and Sebastian squeezed his fat ass through. "Well about time you fat fish" I mumbled to myself. Phoenix lowered the harpoon gun and placed it back onto the table.

The first thing Sebastian did was crouch down to me and...

HE FUCKING SLAPPED ME >:(
He then hugged me. Talk about mixed signals. "Dumbass" he muttered. "fat fish" I muttered back. He then stretched and then ragdolled onto my stomach. He got comfy, while I coughed with how he'd done that.

He got nice and cuddled up to me with his tail wrapped around me. Phoenix looked smug in her chair while giggling to herself.
