Y/N's POV
It'd been a few days since that fish guy gave me food, what's his name again? Right Sebastian or whatever. I had been rationing it out for the past few days.
I hated how the food tasted but I couldn't really argue when the other option was starving. I had also found a little cave to stay in, which wasn't the best considering it was damp, cramped, and really hard to see in.
The lighting problem was kinda hard to fix considering a lot of lights weren't water proof enough to be brought into the cave, also did I say I had to swim in from a hole in the floor to get in?
I could barely get my hips through that hole. The lighting was horrible, it was uncomfortably damp, a little bit small for my size, and also did I mention that it was half collapsed on one side? This cave was the best option though.
The hallways were a bad option due to expeditionary groups and the other deformed rug rats that stayed out there, staying with Sebastian was a huge no go, and trying to sleep just in the water was impossible due to how I consistently floated to new areas and just woke up somewhere random.
Ever since I'd gotten this back I'd felt oddly... what's the feeling? Happy? Yea, oddly happy when I was thinking about Sebastian. I hadn't seen him since he gave me the bag, and eventually the thought of if he had given up his own food supply to help me. I doubted it, but it was semi possible.
I eventually got the idea to try and scavenge stuff from the facility and maybe a few of the people I would kill when I got the chance speaking of which my kill count was currently only one. I didn't know why I hadn't attacked him in my hunger.
I wondered why I felt the need to be less aggressive to him, maybe it was the similar look to me that made me feel a weird connection, or maybe it was his voice that got me?
For now I'd decided to try and find Sebastian for once to see if he was doing alright.
Sebastian's POV
Ever since I'd given that siren some food I'd have this weird feeling of being watched whenever I wasn't in my shop. It got so bad that I had to pause whatever I was doing to look around for a second to make sure I was alone.
I was starting to think more on why the siren lady hadn't attacked me no matter her state of hunger. I had eventually found a file that appeared to belong to her. After reading it I still had no clue why I felt the way I did, it also gave me no reason aside from me being on land that she wouldn't attack me.
I had and still have no clue, which usually I was the one who knew every monster in this shithole. I just decided to continue my life.
