Hunger drives Anger - chapter 27

I was beginning to fear how unstable the Blacksite's structure was becoming. I was finding more and more collapsed rooms and by this point there was only so many ways to get to the crystal for Expendables so I was finding more of them as well.

My hunger was becoming worse and worse, I found myself unable to feel completely full. I was always so very hungry. The increase in finding expedition groups was that I could eat more than before, which helped me to not lunge at Sebastian or something.

Yet still, the amount of Expendables I was consuming on a daily basis wasn't enough to make me feel comfortable. I eventually got to the point of chewing on rocks to get the biting urges out of my system.

I was getting worse by the day, and the constant visits with basically anyone wasn't helping. I couldn't bring myself to stop visiting Sebastian though. I could handle not seeing Phoenix for a while, but not Sebastian.

I was actively on my way to visit Sebastian directly after a meal. I was still so so very hungry. Once I got there, I struggled through the vent with a grumble. Sebastian pull me all the way through.

I was so hungry that for a second I nearly considering attacking him, I managed to lunge but didn't bite. I just clung onto him like normal, as if I hadn't had the urge to attack and eat him. My stomach hurt so much and I was constantly shaking from hunger.

Actively, Sebastian and I were hanging out when I felt the pang of hunger hit me again. Once more I refused to let it control me despite the burning pain from my stomach. I was slowly loosing myself to this intense hunger.

I eventually got up and took a second. Sebastian made the mistake of looking away from me and I felt the amount of hunger I felt skyrocket when he looked vulnerable like that. I immediately lost my shit.

I lunged with quite a bit of momentum behind my lunge. He was obviously caught off guard and moved his arm to block the bite I'd aimed for his throat. I bit down on his arm instead with a snarl... Like a feral animal.

I couldn't stop myself and bit down harder onto his arm, earning a grunt from him. I would of tried to bite deeper than I already had, but a hand slamming into my chest knocked the air outta me. I stumbled back and was literally tackled by Sebastian.

I felt him pull my arms behind my back and his tail wrapped around my own. I squirmed and growled like a feral animal before I felt a small prick  in my arm. I looked and saw a tranquilizer dart that the Expendables sometimes have. I felt dizzy all of a sudden.

Everything went dark, despite my attempts to stay awake.

I was stunned still. I had acted entirely out of panic when Y/N had suddenly lunged at me attempting to rip my throat out. I looked down to my arm and it was bleeding a shit ton. I used some spare rope I had to tie
Y/N's hands behind their back before getting a med kit.

They'd taken a large chunk outta my arm and it very clearly needed stitches to heal properly. I heard movement and turned around to see Phoenix completely flabbergasted at the siren on the floor.

I could understand that reaction. She noticed my arm and immediately spoke. "What.the.fuck.happened?" She asked. Her voice was filled with concern and maybe even some fear. I couldn't completely think of a full explanation.

I had no clue why Y/N had lunged, but I suspected that it was because of the upcoming winter. Phoenix pinched the bridge of her nose before speaking. "Give me your arm real quick" she ordered instead of asked.

I lowered my arm down to her rescue and she snatched the med kit from my other hand. She took out the required supplies and began to work on fixing my arm. I looked over to Y/N's unconscious body.

I silently admired them despite them having tried to literally rip my throat out. I was distracting myself from the pain of what Phoenix was doing to fix my arm up correctly. I couldn't believe how peaceful they looked, despite that they had tried to kill me.

I knew it wasn't their fault.
