Chest aches - chapter 31

I was sobbing and unable to stop. My chest hurt so so very bad and I couldn't move my tail. I only managed to crawl my way all the way into my cave with what little strength I had.

My eyes locked onto the ring Sebastian had given me that I still had on my finger. I cried even harder at the thought that he might hate me now.

I coughed up even more blood onto the hard stone floor. It was oh so cold yet my body felt weirdly warm as I started to get increasingly tired. I eventually passed out.

I decided to go check up in Y/N since I felt horrible about having lashed out like I had. When I reached their cave there was no sound or movement inside.

I was concerned by the lack of movement of noise. When I surfaced I was met with an knocked out Y/N. "Y/N? Are you awake?" I tried to call to them but apparently they didn't hear. "Are you ignoring m-"

When I got closer I noticed that they had blood running out of their mouth and from how it looked they were suffocating on it. I quickly flipped them onto their side so they didn't drown on their own blood. "Fuck what happened?!"

"S-Shit, Y/N I'm so sorry I shouldn't have said any of that it wasn't your fault at all" I slightly cried. They weren't waking up nor did they seem to be breathing very much.

Blood from their mouth puddled onto the floor. I was heavily panicking and tried to shake them shake them awake, which was unsuccessful. I eventually changed plans and pulled out a chunk of a wall dweller from one of the pockets of my jacket.

I put it in their mouth and basically shoved it down their throat. After a few seconds the regenerative properties of the wall dweller made whatever was causing that bleeding to stop and they snapped awake.

They were very clearly dazed and confused. I hugged onto them like they'd disappear if I let go. "I'm so sorry" I mumbled against their neck.

I was completely confused but remembered what happened shortly after he hugged me. My chest still slightly ached but less severely.

I hugged back onto him as tightly as I could. I couldn't help but slightly cry myself. I didn't know why I'd passed out though.

I was just happy he didn't hate me.

Hope y'all liked this chapter. I couldn't quite bring myself to go with the original idea cause I kept crying mid way through.
