Y/N POV
I'd been scooting myself down these halls for too long. I needed to get to some form of liquid. My arms were sore and my back was killing me. I eventually reached yet another door after having to scoot across the floor.
I opened it and scooted myself through the door. All of a sudden I noticed a closed vent and how the door needed a key card. I'd been through plenty of these doors so I just scooted to the vent and took off the vent cover.
I scooted myself into the vent looking out the other side. On the other side I saw a tall fish looking man with a tail, his back was to me and I could see the key card I so desperately needed right infront of me. The fish seemed to be mumbling to himself while sorting through some data from what I could see from my angle.
I quietly scooted myself forward to grab the key card. I eventually reached it and I grabbed it and started to scoot backward into the vent, having not fully gotten my tail out of it made that easier.
I was almost free when one of his weird fin looking things where his ears were twitched and he glanced back. His eyes fell onto me and an awkward silence began. We just stared at eachother.
I eventually managed to get a hold of the other side of the vent with one of my hands and pulled myself back out, and so I began scooting along like I hadn't just stolen a key card from a fish man. I just hoped to not see him again.
But those dreams were crushed when his fatass started to squeeze out of the vent as well. I just watched in silence as he struggled to squeeze his long and thick tail out. Eventually there was an audible pop and he managed to get himself through.
He got back to his full height and slithered towards me, in response to which I scooted back slightly and he paused. "I kinda need that key card back" he said in an irritated tone.
I just rolled my eyes and used the key card to open the door, then threw it at him. "Jeez talk about temper" I heard him mutter, while I scooted myself along. I was starting to dry up which made moving hard, and he just watched from the door as i struggled to scoot along.
He was watching me with this condescending look in his eyes. "Do you need help?" He asked looking down at me still. I didn't respond, and before I could even react he just flat out picked me up. He slithered along until we found a collapsed and flooded room.
He threw me into the water and then slithered away like he didn't even touch me. I was processing for a second before I just decided to just relax in the water for a second.
