Experimented - chapter 22

I woke up more uncomfortable than normal. I tried to sit up so I could stretch but something was restraining my arms.

I tried go open my eyes and was blinded by bright light, made me miss Sebastian since his light bulb wasn't actually that bad to wake up to- why am I thinking like this?

I curled up, or at least tried to. My tail was chained to a wall so I just ended up dragging myself toward a wall. I, for once in my life, wanted Sebastian to come save me.

Everything hurt and I could feel the familiar feeling of bandages upon bandages on my body, and more specifically my tail.

I still hadn't adjusted to the bright light. The lights reminded me of when I was first secured and locked up in the Blacksite, I hated the reminder.

I was overwhelmed and the one thing I wanted right now was to hug Sebastian or talk to Phoenix. It hurt so much to move so I just stayed still, trying to remember what got me here.

I eventually remembered what happened. I would of tried to open my eyes again, but I knew I'd cry if the lights got me again. Being a siren, I was sensitive to most bright light so this was probably closer to looking at the sun for me than for humans.

I was gonna have a panic attack with how loud everything felt and how I could feel every piece of cloth and bandage on me.

I NEEDED Sebastian.

I was pacing around more since I didn't have the balls to go into that damned room after those damn humans. I couldn't find Phoenix either.

I would of just left if I had never got this close to them, but it was far to late to wish I never met them. Besides saying that would be a lie, I love- I tolerate their precious-

Presence, I tolerate their presence... I was more focused on figuring out a way to get them back in my ar- my shop...

I was about ready to just wait it out.

Until I heard...

They had just injected something into my tail, well tried to at least, my scales protected me. I tried to thrash my way free when it all began, but it only made it worse.

They had been testing things on me, mostly injections for God knows what reason. I was in agony, piercing agony.

I would normally have stayed quiet, but one of them tried to take the brac- ring Sebastian gave me and I let out as loud of a screech as I could. I held my screech just long enough for them to back off my ass.

I had my arm wrapped around my other arm that had the ring on it. I would rather gut myself like the fish I am before I let them take this ring.

They seemed to be getting closer again, until the door literally broke open and flew into one of them. 'DAMN' I thought to myself.

I tried to move again but the restraints still were tight.

Sebastian.

It was Sebastian coming to save me.

I was actually so happy to see him coming to help me. He was almost to me when he was forced back out by people with harpoon guns.

They were trying to kill him.

One shot the other, followed by another. My voice filled the background. (Again. Song at top!)

I wasn't letting him die so easily,

It wasn't a pretty sight as they all turned on each other in every way possible. They deserved every ounce of pain this caused them...

I could only do this for so much longer. I was mad, so very very mad. I didn't care if they were already gonna bleed out. I would of continued, but Sebastian placed a hand over my mouth and silenced me.

I blinked at him for a second, realizing what I'd just done to these people. Before I could react he broke the restraints and picked me up. He was surprisingly fast while he rushed to get is back to his shop.

When we got to the shop he placed me onto his tail after curling into a corner with me.
