I had fallen asleep on Sebastian for like- I don't know the fifth time or so. Right now however, I was swimming along.

I'd had to leave Sebby- I mean- Sebastian because of some Expendables being assholes and deciding to mess with Sebastian until he literally chased them down.

I was a little too tired to care for that though. I just continued to swim along until I saw Phoenix in a hallway through the glass. I wasn't exactly hungry due to going rabid on another group so I decided to say hello.

I admit the thing I did was stupid, but the exact glass I swam into wasn't visible. I had tried to swim under the hallway and pop up from the floor. I'd swam face first into some glass when I tried to.

Phoenix noticed the thud against the glass and glanced to see what caused it with a slight reach for her harpoon gun. When she saw me she laughed and made a gesture to follow her.

I followed her and she lead me to a room I could actually get into. After the casual greeting she seemed to switch moods and only then did I notice the freshly put on bandages on her left shoulder.

She seemed to become awkward when I noticed. I just decided not to draw attention to the injury as she spoke. "Well anyway, have you told Sebastian about your feelings? Or are you gonna try and wait a while?" She asked casually.

"I'm not really sure, I thought about it though and I'm kinda leaning towards waiting some time" I responded while laying my head down onto my own arms. I was still heavily conflicted on how to respond to my emotions, but Phoenix was helping me through it.

"I'm always here if you need me" she said while leaning her back against a wall. Phoenix was always so nice to me and even shot a few Expendables that were being asses to me. She made me feel more comfortable in my own skin.

"Are you good?" She asked, noticing I was zoned out heavily. I was trying to think, but I couldn't get a thought into my own head. "I-I don't know Phoenix." I mumbled while messing with a rock.

I knew Phoenix was always there no matter the issue, and I knew that wouldn't always be a good thing. Either way I was sure Phoenix was tough enough to survive basically anything, I mean after all she survived a good amount stuff down here already, what could kill her now?

I had sunk back and began to float on my back when I felt something hit my cheek. I lifted my head and Phoenix was actually looking at me now. "Don't go all depressio espresso on me now" she said jokingly, while throwing another small piece of a granola bar at me.

I couldn't help but giggled at her attempt at making me feel better, it kinda worked anyway though. She was such a comfortable woman to be around. I just hoped she wouldn't have to leave anytime soon.
