I'd been tied up for like 7 hours and my wrists were sore. I was basically starving. Sebastian eventually came back to his shop with a small needle. "Now you need to stay calm when I do this."

How dare he... He held me down and injected me with something. I would of been mad if I hadn't felt my hunger fade soon after. I perked up slightly. "You good now?" He asked while adjusting the bandages on his arm.

I was so confused. "Your- uh- instincts were making you try and prepare for winter" he explained as he put down the syringe to untie me. I rubbed my wrists, they were sore.

(Time skip cause I'm lazy and want to get to the fun part >:) )

I'd been told by Sebastian to follow Phoenix to make sure she didn't die to something like a wall dweller. Speaking of wall dwellers, she punched the shit outta one in front of me. It was mildly intimidating despite her size.

Me and her were just exploring in my eyes, not really doing much. I was beginning to notice some weirdly unstable looking beams and such, probably nothing though. I just followed her like a lost dog.

The hallways were dank and smelled like a dead body, though there were probably dead bodies so I wasn't surprised. I just followed Phoenix.

The hallways were getting worse and worse in condition and smell. I wanted to gag. Despite having a horrible sense of smell, I could still smell it.

I was concerned but too afraid to ask Phoenix about it. I was just thinking to myself while following her. I was checking my claws.

We were about halfway through a hallway when I heard a giant thud and Phoenix darted. I panicked more once she was gone.

I knew what was happening, I recognized that sound. I slithered as fast as possible, barely managing to avoid getting crushed again. Phoenix was waiting on the other side clutching her right arm tightly.

I could see some red managing its way between her fingers and down her arm. I was concerned and wanted to help, but I knew I wasn't of any help now.

Luckily for me she had a med kit on her and began to use it. I was just watching to make sure she was alright doing it herself.

"You don't have to watch my every move Y/N" she said suddenly. I immediately got embarrassed and looked elsewhere. I looked to the collapsed wall I'd barely managed to avoid. I realized she was the only one out of the two of us who was stuck over here now.

I knew we'd both be here for a while, I wasn't leaving her behind.
