VIV'S POV

I crouched behind the tree. I have no idea what I'm doing. How did I let Ace convince me of this? I had this perfect plan of joining him and slowly destroying him from the inside but I don't know what this plan would lead to.

I called Ace'. "Yeah. Be there in 5" He said. I didn't respond and he hung up. I just want this to end. I want everything back to normal.

I rubbed my hands trying to keep myself warm. Why is it so fucking cold? Suddenly a huge trucks passed in front of me. Fuck this is way too soon.

They stopped in the middle of the road blocking it. This isn't supposed to happen. I watched as a guy jumped down from the truck, pulled out a gun and aimed at the empty road.

I quickly dialled Ace's number to warn him but it went straight to voicemail. Ahh No.. Fuck. There is only one option now. I scrunched my nose and walked outside with my hands up. "Don't shoot!" I shouted. The guy slowly lowered his gun.

"Aren't you boss's daughter?" He asked. "Yeah?" I shrugged. "What are you doing here?" He raised his eyebrows. "Didn't you hear? I work for him now. He asked me to follow the trucks." I said confidently and I'm pretty sure he believed me until he aimed his gun again at me.

"I don't believe you!" He snarled resting his finger on the trigger. "Alright then Shoot but I'm still your Boss's daughter and you have no idea what he will do to you once he finds out you killed me," I said taking a step forward.

He slightly lowered his gun. Suddenly, a car drove towards us at full speed. He was about to shoot at the car, but I was able to divert his aim. Unfortunately, I didn't do a great job and the bullet hit one of the tyres. As a result, Ace's car hit a tree.

I snatched the gun from his hand and hit his head with the gun. I ran towards Ace to check whether he was alright. "Fuck Ace! Are you alright?" I breathed. "Yeah." He mumbled rubbing his head. "You're bleeding Ace." I pointed out touching his arm. "It's nothing." He brushed it off.

He was about to say something but then at a distance, I heard the noise of what seemed like dozens of cars. It's my Father. And at that moment I had to make a choice. Whether to die or join him.

"Viv.No!" Ace grunted. "I'm sorry. Take care of Ethan. And don't get out of this car." I mumbled. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer. "Don't do this." He breathed. "I will be fine." I smiled.

"Viv No." I sighed and closed the passenger seat door. I walked towards the middle of the road and stood there. Dozens of cars came to a stop in front of me.

In a matter of time, My father was in front of me with a smirk on his face. "Father." I clenched my fist. "So have you made a decision?" He asked taking a step towards me. "Yes. I will come with you if you let Ace go." I said

"You know I can't do that." He smiled. "Get him." He indicated one of his men to bring him. "Please," I begged. I glanced behind and saw Ace struggling to get free. I diverted my gaze to my father.

"Come on now. If you don't let him go, understand that I will oppose you on your every move and try to kill you In every way possible. Even if you tie me up or lock me down in a basement I will find a way. And trust me I keep my word.

Let him go. I will work for you." I declared. "Alright! But it's no fun letting him go like this." Before I could react he aimed his gun at Ace and shot him. "Noo!" I screamed as he fell to the ground.

The next thing I knew was being tied up and taken to my father's evil lair. I hope Ace is okay because I couldn't make out where he was hit.

I'm working for my father now. I don't know how this will work out. But I will find a way to get myself out of this.

Gain his trust. And stab him in the back. As simple as it gets. I got this.
