VIVIAN'S POV
It's Sunday. Finally. "Ethan! Come on we are gonna be late!" I yelled fixing my hair in the mirror. I Checked my outfit before entering the living room.
"Viv?!" He entered the living room rubbing his eyes. "Yes?" I asked picking him up in my arms.
"Where are we going?" He asked resting his head on my shoulder. "Well, Where do you wanna go?" I asked.
"Can we go to that new amusement park or have lunch at that huge new hotel?" He requested. "Or we can do both!" I exclaimed and a smile appeared on his face. He hugged me and squeezed his way out of my arms.
We went downstairs and I drove us to Andiamo, the huge hotel Ethan was talking about. On the way, we picked Stella up from her old house.
"So plans?" She asked. "Andiamo. Lunch. And Amusement Park." I briefed. "You excited?" she asked poking Ethan with light hands. He laughed and nodded.
I parked my car in the basement then all three of us went to the lobby. "It's so cool." Ethan grinned as I picked him up. I gave him a peck on his cheeks as we made our way towards the restaurant.
"Hello, Ma'am! Do you have a reservation?" she asked politely. "Yeah, By Vivian Hale!" I replied. She checked and took us to our table.
"You had a reservation?" Stella whispered. "Yeah! I was already planning on taking him here so..." I shrugged. "You are a good sister, I tell you." she grinned and I smiled back.
"You guys decide, I have to use the restroom," I said. I got up and made my way towards the restroom. For a split second, I lost my focus and bumped into someone. "Careful!" The guy groaned. Wait! I recognize this voice. "Vivian?" Fucking Hell Ace.
"Ace," I mumbled. "What are you doing here?" He grumbled. "Lunch," I replied shortly. "Excuse me," I mumbled and made my way towards the restroom before he could answer. I washed my hands and made my way back to the table.
My day was going fine until I saw his face. "Guess who I saw just now," I whispered to Stella. "Who?" She asked taking a sip of her water.
"Ace," I mumbled and scrunched my nose. "He's Here. Oh, how much I would give to see your face at that moment." She laughed and I rolled my eyes.
After that, we had a normal conversation and ate our food. "Let's split," Stella said looking at the bill. "Hey no worries, I got this," I said.
I paid the cash and we decided to hang out in the hotel Lobby for a while before leaving for the amusement park because it was too hot outside. "Viv, Can I go play there?" He asked pointing to a small playroom in the corner.
"Sure come on! I will sign you in." I said. He led me to the playroom. I signed him in. There was no one there except him. I stayed with him for a few minutes then went back to Stella.
On my way back there I bumped into Ace again but he was with Max this time. "Viv."
"Ace. Hi Max." I gave him a small smile. "Hi, Viv." He said returning the smile. Max is nice. He is Ace Friend. He is pleasant, unlike Ace. "Still here I see," Ace teased.
"Still an asshole I see." I retorted. He rolled his eyes and before he could respond Stella joined us. "Hi," She chimed. They both mumbled a hi.
"Viv. I have to talk to you," she said and added. "Alone." we went a few steps away from them.
"We should leave. I think something is going on here. I mean Ace is here with a hell lot of security. And some sketchy people are walking around. Look around Viv." She took a deep breath. I looked around. Ace was talking with his guards his face was all worried and there were not many guests around.
"Yeah, you are right." I picked up Ethan. On our way out we were stopped by Ace again. "Not from here." He mumbled. All of us headed to the back of the lobby and before we could exit there was a blast.
I wrapped my arms around Ethan trying to protect him. Luckily we were far away from the blast so no one got hurt.
"You okay?" I asked Ethan caressing his cheeks. "I'm scared." He cried and hugged me tightly. I didn't know how to respond to that So I just held him and rushed out of the exit.
Once we were in the basement I just wanted to get away from Ace. He knew that there was gonna be a blast still that Asshole didn't warn us. I hate him so much.
"Stella Let's go," I mumbled. "Wait no you can't leave it's still dangerous outside," Ace said rubbing his forehead. "Well, I can't stay here and wait. He is scared." I replied rubbing Ethan's Back.
"Just for a little while Viv." He stressed. Well l hate to admit it but he was right. We don't know what's gonna happen if we leave the basement.
"Just.. I will wait in the car." I groaned. I stayed in the car with Ethan until he was asleep. I got out to stretch my legs. I spotted Ace standing just a few steps away from me. He was speaking to someone on the phone.
I walked towards him and tapped him on the shoulder. "Let me call you back." He said to the person he was talking to after turning around.
"How's Ethan?" He asked. "He's better. How long till we get to leave?" I asked. "Just a few minutes. My men are checking if it's safe." He replied.
"Okay," I mumbled in my breath. " I should've told you to leave the moment I saw you. But in my defence, I thought you would leave in an hour." He said.
I just hummed in response. I was too tired to argue. "Viv?" I heard Stella's voice from behind. She put her arms around my neck and pulled me into a side hug. "Where were you?" I asked her.
"Just roaming around. Then I saw you so I came here." She replied. After a few minutes, Max joined us too.
I didn't want Ethan to go through the things I did. I don't want him to see the horrors I saw when I was little. But for now I just want to get out of here.
