VIVIAN'S POV

"I'm tired!" I grumbled. "It's been 15 minutes!" He said. "Your point?" He rolled his eyes. "Well, what this means?" I asked.

Envío de medicamentos que llega a las 20:00, 8-11-23.

"I can only make out a shipment of- will- 15:00 (8:00 pm), Tomorrow," I said.

I looked at it for a minute. Medicamentos. MEDICINE.

"Medicine. The shipment of medications will arrive at 8:00 tomorrow. Medicine means Drugs I guess." I said. "Yup."

"We can just use the phone to translate," I suggested. "Yes but still it will take time." He said and pulled out his phone. He scanned the document. And was waiting for it to translate. Why didn't we think of that before?

"Viv?" Someone mumbled from behind me. I turned around and it was Ally. Her eyes were on Ace. She was so lost staring at him. "Ally?" I said shaking her a bit.

"Oh hey!" She said still looking at him. Ace looked up and smiled. "Hi." He said and looked at his phone again. "Viv you told me you don't know Ace Donavan!" She whispered to me.

"I don't know-" Before I could finish Ace interrupted me, "Viv is just helping me with something." I glanced at him and he was already looking at me. "Oh, maybe I can help!?" She exclaimed.

"It's fine. We are almost done!" He said. "Okay." She said awkwardly. She was fully flushed when she stumbled her way out. I let out a small groan. "Can I leave now?"

"I have a class!" I added. "Skip it." He said.

"I can't," I mumbled. I don't know if I have to join my father or not so I can't afford to miss any classes. Look at me I should be worrying about how to win a fight from my father but all I can think about is my fucking academics. How I have turned into such a nerd?

I glanced at the file he was holding. A phrase caught my eye;

ENVÍO DE 11-17 AÑOS:- SALIDA EL 7-11-23, 18:00

HORA DE LLEGADA: 8-11-23, 23:30.

Envío means Shipment Of... Of...... 11-17 AÑOS? AÑOS? Ah, It's on the tip of my tongue but I can't figure it out.

AÑOS..... Ah.... Years! YEARS! SHIPMENT OF 11-17 YEARS!

"They are smuggling kids!" I  told him. "Huh..?" He asked dumbfounded. "Look!" I said placing my finger on that sentence. "AÑOS means years!"

"They are sending them today 7-11-23, at 6:00. Ace you have to do something!" I grabbed his arm. "Those kids Ace?!" I exclaimed shaking his arm a bit.

"Give me a minute!" He said. He dialled a number on his phone. "Sawyer! Check every port, Airport and train nothing should go in or out without a thorough Check. I need an update in a half hour." He Ordered him and hung up.

"We just have to wait now!" He said. I checked the time it was time for my class. "I Have To go now," I said glancing at him. "I will update you." He said leaning a little closer.

"Yeah," I said moving closer to him. Oh, are we about to kiss again? I want to pull away or I want him to pull away but at the same time, I don't.

Suddenly someone's phone rang in the room and we both pulled away. "I will see you later!" I said quickly getting up. "Yeah!" He said.

I got out of there as fast as I could. I don't know how much I can handle being around Ace. It just makes me want to kiss him again. I know I'm not supposed to think about it but I can't help it.

I walked towards my class. Some people were staring and some weren't. I was used to it in high school when I used to be friends with Ace but not now. Whenever I tried to talk to a girl she would just hate me or glare at me in high school.

Then I met Stella. You have no idea how glad I was to finally have a girl to talk to who wasn't only here was Ace or Max. Now that we are no longer friends, me and Ace, I've made a lot of decent amount of friends.

Now him showing up here. I just hope I'm not in high school again. I don't want to do this again. It's frustrating and annoying and I don't want to go through this again.
