The woman sat regally in the backseat of her luxurious car, her posture poised and dignified as she gazed out the window with an air of quiet confidence. Her grey suit draped elegantly against her figure, tailored to perfection to accentuate her every curve with understated sophistication.

With each passing moment, the woman exuded an aura of power and authority, her presence commanding attention wherever she went. Her eyes, sharp and intelligent, betrayed a keen intellect and an unwavering determination to succeed.

As the luxury car glided through the streets, the woman's mind churned with a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. Despite her outward composure, she found herself haunted by the events of the previous night, her thoughts consumed by the enigmatic figure of Rebecca. She stares through the window with a restless emotions.

Negative thoughts swirled in her mind like a tempest, fueled by frustration and confusion. Why hadn't Rebecca reached out to her today? The woman couldn't shake the nagging sense of unease that gnawed at her insides, a lingering doubt that threatened to unravel her carefully constructed facade of control.

"Prince? Are you waiting for someone to call?" Freen's thoughts were abruptly interrupted by the sound of Billy's voice, pulling her back to the present moment with a start. She blinked, momentarily disoriented, before realizing that he had spoken to her.

"What?" she asked, her voice tinged with confusion as she struggled to regain her composure. The question hung in the air between them, and Freen couldn't help but feel a surge of apprehension at the implications behind Billy's words.

She glanced at him, her eyes searching his face for any hint of suspicion or concern. But Billy's expression remained impassive, betraying nothing of the thoughts that churned beneath the surface.

"Nothing. You've been looking at your phone the whole day. And now you're zoning out. Something happened?" Billy continue again makes freen gulping and sighing out loud. Yes, at work, billy and her will keep their professionalism. Just like just now, billy will respect her and calling her as 'Prince' knowing that freen is in highest class than him. But still, actually, they're both friends. A good friends to be exact.

"Okay, like this. Let me ask you a question." Freen suddenly fix her position as billy raise his eyebrows and keep driving carefully while waiting for freen to ask.

"If a woman ask you to marry her one day, then ghost you the next day. what is that?" Freen ask, her heart pouding as she waiting for billy to respond. Billy humming for a while and make his conclusion.

"Playing hard to get? I think." Billy said makes freen sighing out loud out of frustrated.

"Then what if her phone isn't even on?" Freen ask, as she actually already call becky for a second but only receiving a mailbox instead.

"Then she's definitely cutting you off." Billy said makes freen gasped, and she even cursed under her breath.

"Fuck! Cutting me —- off?" Freen groaned and frustratedly sighing. God. Seriously?

Rolling her eyes, freen lean back on the car seat and said "Turn around and drive me to the palace. I want to meet grandma." Freen said makes billy chuckled a little and nod his head. "Will do, Prince."

With that, Billy turn the car and drove away fastly to the place just like how freen command.

At the other side, Rebecca was sitting on the bed inside her room, and that's when she look around her room and one more time, she realise, that this is not a room. This is a jail cell. How can inside this luxury mansion, there is this kind of room that no different that a store?

And how can a child of armstrong's family being placed in this kind of store for her whole life? If anyone outside there knows about this, they will surely not believe it because of how everyone looking high onto this family. But no one knows the truth. The truth is here, rebecca herself.

From she's still a kid, she already placed inside this room which not looking like a proper room at all. The wall was smudges with black dirty of dust or whatever it is, the rack for her clothes is not properly bought, the floor a little bit crack, and the bed, only a single bed that covered with her brown mattress.

Yes, when she's a kid until now, she never think that this is not enough. Yes. Never. She even grateful to have Mrs Luny and also Mr Armstrong as their parents, as they took them from the orphanage.

But, more and more time passing, right now, and at the exact moment, rebecca realise. She realise that she'd always did everything only for the sakes of making her mother love her. She realise that no matter how hard she tries, she never be the same as what Mrs Luny want. And she realise, people around her, especially her family, will never love her just like how she loved them.

"I can't let this happened anymore. I can't be the victims again. I can't." Rebecca mutters and yes, she's not gonna let everything repeat again.
