The tension at the dining table of the palace was palpable, weighing heavily in the air like a thick fog. Not a single word was exchanged among the occupants as they sat in silence, each lost in their own thoughts.

Freen and Rebecca sat side by side, their expressions guarded and their bodies tense. The arrival of Apo had only served to heighten the tension, casting a shadow over the once lively atmosphere of the dining room.

Apo's presence seemed to loom over the table, his gaze fixed on Freen and Rebecca with an intensity that sent shivers down to rebecca's spines. His demeanor was unreadable, his silence more menacing than any words he could have uttered. Apo sat across from rebecca and freen, with an air of authority, his posture rigid and his expression inscrutable. His eyes bore into theirs, conveying a silent message that left them feeling uneasy and unsettled.

The silence stretched on, each passing moment only serving to intensify the tension between them. It was as if the weight of their unspoken words hung heavy in the air, suffocating any attempt at conversation and leaving them all feeling trapped in a web of uncertainty and apprehension.

"Why aren't you guys eating? Let's eat," Apo suddenly interjected, breaking the silence that had enveloped the dining table. Slowly, Freen and Rebecca began to eat, following suit with the rest of their family. However, Rebecca couldn't shake the feeling of tension emanating from Freen whenever they were in the presence of Apo's family. Freen's demeanor was noticeably colder and more distant compared to when they were alone together.

"Oh, by the way, I have a guest to introduce," Apo announced suddenly, capturing the attention of everyone at the table. A woman approached towards the dining table, her presence causing shock to ripple through the room, particularly for Rebecca and Freen. Rebecca gasped audibly, her eyes narrowing as she fixed her gaze on the woman who smiled politely, seemingly eager to garner everyone's attention.

"Good evening, Majesty, Grandmother, and everyone. I'm Orn. Orn Armstrong," the woman introduced herself with a slight bow, her demeanor poised and graceful. Apo stood up, taking Orn's hand and intertwining it tightly with his own.

"This is my girlfriend. Orn is my girlfriend," Apo declared, his announcement causing gasps of surprise to echo around the table. The revelation left everyone stunned, with Rebecca and Freen exchanging incredulous glances as they processed the unexpected news.

The revelation sent shockwaves through the room, leaving everyone, especially Rebecca, Freen, Billy, and Nam, stunned and frozen in disbelief. Orn, who had once harbored feelings for Freen, was now standing beside Apo as his girlfriend. It was an unexpected turn of events, and questions swirled in their minds as they struggled to comprehend how this could have happened.

Rebecca and Freen exchanged incredulous glances, their thoughts racing as they tried to make sense of the situation. Orn's sudden presence with Apo seemed suspicious, and Freen couldn't shake the feeling that there was an ulterior motive behind it all.

"Apo?! Are you serious?" the grandmother questioned, her disbelief evident in her tone. The realization that Orn was Rebecca's sister and had previously shown interest in Freen only added to the confusion.

"Yes, Grandmother. I'm serious about Orn, and we're planning to get married," Apo confirmed, his expression smug as he glanced towards Freen before giving a subtle smirk.

The queen, their mother, scoffed in disbelief. "What?! Apo! You know Orn is Rebecca's sister, right?" she exclaimed, her voice tinged with shock and disbelief.

"Of course, I know," Apo replied nonchalantly, his demeanor unfazed by his mother's reaction.

"And you know Orn liking Freen before. How could this happen?" their mother pressed, her concern evident in her tone.

Orn chuckled softly, her gaze meeting Mrs. Chankimha's in a challenging manner. "Not anymore, Mother. I'm with Apo now," she declared confidently, her use of the term 'mother' causing Mrs. Chankimha's mouth to gape open in shock. It was clear that Orn's allegiance had shifted, leaving everyone bewildered and struggling to comprehend the sudden turn of events.

Rebecca's jaw clenched as she processed the situation unfolding before her. It dawned on her that her mother and Orn would never let her win, and this was just the beginning of a tumultuous battle. Orn's presence was a clear indication that she was not done fighting for Freen, and Rebecca knew she had to brace herself for the challenges ahead. And maybe, not only because of wanting freen.

Lost in her thoughts, Rebecca felt a gentle pressure on her hand and looked up to see Freen reaching out to her, offering a reassuring smile. Despite knowing that Freen was dealing with her own internal struggles, she still extended her support to her in that moment. Rebecca couldn't help but felt a little calm when freen did this. She felt safe.

Freen's gesture of solidarity provided a sense of comfort amidst the chaos, reminding Rebecca that she wasn't alone in this fight. It was a silent acknowledgment of their bond and a promise that they would navigate through the challenges together, no matter what obstacles stood in their way.

And after the lunch done, Freen stood outside the palace, clutching the glass in her hand so tightly that her knuckles turned white. She needed a moment to compose herself, to escape the suffocating atmosphere of the family lunch. However, her brief respite was shattered by the unwelcome presence of someone she despised.

"Hey, bro," Apo greeted casually, reaching out to touch Freen's shoulder. She recoiled instinctively, yanking his hand away as she turned to glare at him. Her voice was cold and firm as she demanded, "What do you want?"

Apo chuckled in response, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly. "I don't know. Maybe... your beautiful wife?" he whispered, his words dripping with malice. Freen felt her jaw tighten in anger, her eyes flashing with fury at his insinuation.

A malicious grin spread across Apo's lips as he observed Freen's reaction. He took pleasure in seeing her provoked, reveling in the power he wielded over her emotions. To him, Freen's anger was a testament to his knowledge of her weaknesses, a confirmation of his control over her.

"I wonder... how good she is in bed? Did you somehow already—-" Apo's taunting words were abruptly cut off as Freen's hand shot out, gripping his shirt collar tightly. Her hands trembled with rage, her gaze piercing into his with an intensity that made him uneasy. Freen could kill him there.

But not when a voices suddenly hearing,

"Freen!" Rebecca's voice suddenly pierced through the tension, her footsteps quickening as she ran to Freen's side, wrapping her arms around her from behind. "Stop it. Let's go back," Rebecca pleaded, her voice tinged with concern as she gently shook Freen's body.

Freen's breathing was heavy as she reluctantly released Apo's collar, her grip rougher than intended. "Don't play with me, Apo. Especially when it comes to my wife. My wife," she growled, her eyes locked onto his with a fierce determination. If rebecca is not there, she sure apo id dead at the moment.

Taking rebecca's hand tighty against hers, freen pull and walk hand in hand with her wife.

With a triumphant smirk, Apo watched as Freen and Rebecca walked away, his satisfaction evident in the smug curl of his lips. "So interesting," he muttered to himself, relishing in the chaos he had caused.
