Chapter 23: The Livestock
“You’re like Kevin,” malamig na sabi ni Alice.
Naguguluhan naman siyang tumingin sa dalaga. Anong ibig niyang sabihin?
“I see, you’re one of his kind,” malamig na anito.
Before he could talk again, Alice bit his arm as his groan echoed in the vast wood.
A long time ago, in a facility located in the middle of nowhere, there were more than three hundred children imprisoned inside. A group of scientists put the children into an experiment and studied their everyday lives to create a human weapon. A weapon with loyalty and obey you for whatever you ask them to.
One of the scientists fell in love with a young girl named Alice. She always thought of setting her free. For her, Alice was like a wild animal that should be in the wild, not in a cage. Kaya nang magkaroon siya ng pagkakataong palayain ang bata ay ginawa niya. Even though it would risk her own life. Itinakas niya ang bata sa kabila ng mahigpit na seguridad sa buong lugar.

It was given to her by that scientist. Ilang taon na siyang nakakulong sa mala-impyernong lugar na iyon. Sa tingin niya ay iyon na ang pagkakataon niyang makalaya mula sa kanila.
However, what she wished for could never be happened. She was already considered a huge part of this experiment. She was one of the perfect objects to succeed in this project. Kung mawawala man siya ng parte rito ay mas mabuting iligpit na lang siya.
Alice was only twelve years old during that time. She should be playing around with kids her age, not running for her life every single day.
Ang walang muwang na bata ay patuloy lang sa pagtakbo hanggang sa tamaan siya ng bala sa balikat. Nanlalabo na ang paningin niya dahil sa sugat na tinamo niya. Sa tingin niya ay nasa binggit na siya ng kamatayan. Ginawa na niya ang lahat para mabuhay ngunit matutulad din pala siya sa mga batang pumanaw sa pasilidad na iyon.
That day, she wished someone to save her.
Two of the guards went to her to confirm whether she was still alive. But when they were about to near her, a dagger flew right into the forehead of one of the guards. Bago pa magawang barilin ng isa si Alice ay sinunggaban siya ni Alice. Binunot ng bata ang revolvers na nakapuslit sa tagiliran niya at hindi nagdalawang-isip na iputok sa kaniya.
On the other hand, the madman who was the mastermind of this experiment, watched the whole thing through the screens. Halos bawat anggulo ng gubat kung saan matatagpuan ang pasilidad ay may nakatagong camera.
He saw how the sheep became a wolf in just a few seconds. He had been observing Alice since she was young. He tried every single thing to make that demon take over her body, but he failed.
Napangiti siya sa napagtanto. Ngayon ay alam na niya kung papaano gawin iyon. He had to make her feel in danger to trigger the other persona.
“Give her back to me alive.”
Hindi nagawang makatakas ni Alice nang mga oras na iyon matapos siyang barilin ng pangpatulog at ibinalik sa pasilidad.
Sa kabilang banda, gumawa ang mga scientists ng gamot na ang layunin lang ay palabasin ang pangalawang pagkatao ni Alice. The madman wanted the other persona rather than the real owner of the body who had no courage to take part in this experiment. He wanted to control her by himself.
