*3 YEARS LATER*

Evelyn's POV:

Me and Kane were officially going back to the condo in Jamacia. And words could not describe how excited I was.

It has been too long since we have been back, and I think we have both needed the vacation.

I have had a lot of duties to attend to for the past couple of weeks, and I absolutely hate having to drag Kane along with me.

Technically, he doesn't HAVE to come with me. But he chooses to, in fact, he has choosen to be my partner, and my bodyguard.

He's the best. What can I say?

As soon as the car stopped in front of the condo, and the lights began to shine, making it visible, I couldn't help but get a little giddy.

I was so excited.

I immediately jumped out of the car, as I didn't even bother with the bags.

I picked the key out of the box, as I couldn't seem to move fast enough to unlock the door.

"Wait!" Kane said with a laugh behind me.

I stopped, as I turned around to find him running up behind me.

"Hurry! I can't wait to get inside!"

He smiled, as his hands placed on other sides of my shoulders, causing me to turn towards the door.

"What?" I said in confusion.

"Close your eyes." He whispered in my ear.

I did as I was told, confused as to why he wanted me to close them. I have already seen this place before, unless the owners did some sort of renovation. And to be honest, I would hope they didn't. Because the place was already goregous, and didn't need a single thing done to it.

"Ok." I obliged.

I closed my eyes, but soon felt his hands cover them just in case.

I couldn't help but chuckle as I reached out and opened the door wide.

"Take a step up."

I did what he said, until we finally walked inside the house.

We continued to take a few steps inside, until I suddenly heard the door close.

"Ok." Kane said as he let go of his hands.

"Open."

I did as I was told, as I suddenly opened them.

And as I looked around, I couldn't even belive what I was seeing.

The whole place has been decked out in pink and red.

Red roses in vases covered almost the whole entire living room, as candles surrounded them.

Some balloons were scattered around on the cieling, as I couldn't help but lose my train of thought. It was absolutely beautiful.

"Kane." I said as I began to turn around.

"You really shouldn't-"

My face immediately froze as I turned around fully, facing him. Except he wasn't standing. He was down on one knee, with a red velvet box in his hand, and a ring that was absolutely stunning.

I immediately felt tears start to form, and shock flooded my face.

He looked up at me, and smiled as he watched my face.

"Evelyn. I have been wanting to do this for a long time. But I couldn't think about where I wanted to do it."

I chucked.
