Akira's POV

It was very late by the time I returned home. I opened the door and sighed, removing my heels. As I entered the living room, I saw Jungkook coming out of his room.

We looked at each other, both of us tired.

"You couldn't sleep...?" I asked, caressing his cheeks. He hugged me, nuzzling his face against my shoulder, shaking his head.

"I'm hungry...." Jungkook mumbled, squeezing my waist. I hugged him back, asking, "Want me to order you something?" He shook his head, letting me go, and went to the kitchen counter.

Leaning against the doorway, I watched Jungkook assess the contents of the kitchen, illuminated by the soft glow of the colorful lighting he added to my house's interior decoration.

After a moment, Jungkook turned to me with a playful glint in his eyes. "How about we cook something together? It might take our minds off the long day," he suggested, a small smirk playing on his lips.

The idea of preparing a late-night meal together added a touch of warmth to the tired atmosphere, making the late hours feel a bit more bearable.

"I'm not cooking anything...." I chuckled, making my way to him and settling myself on the counter next to the sink.

Jungkook grabbed his phone, and to my dismay, he decided to go on Vlive. I couldn't help but groan.

"Hello, everyone. Nice to meet you guys," he greeted, and within seconds, the viewers started storming in. I rolled my eyes playfully, knowing how his impromptu broadcasts always attracted a crowd.

"Did you know I will be here? Why are so many of you coming in? I... Right now... What's the reason for coming in now?" Jungkook rambled, looking around the kitchen for potential ingredients

I made sure to position myself away from the camera's view, deliberately staying out of the frame focused on the corner of the kitchen.

"I'm hungry. I'm hungry... I shouldn't be eating something too heavy right now, but if I don't eat now.... my resentment will increase."

His justification for eating so late brought a chuckle to my lips.

Jungkook continued chatting with the viewers, his commentary a mix of playful banter and genuine hunger-induced complaints.

"Should I order something, or do you actually want to cook?" I teased, knowing that his spontaneous decision to go live had temporarily shifted our focus from the late-night meal.

Jungkook grinned at me before replying, "You order for yourself, I'll cook for myself."I nodded in understanding, though I had already arranged for someone to bring me food.

"I was just sleeping, but I got so hungry. I thought I can't be like this, so what I have prepared is... What I prepared is... I'm so hungry right now," Jungkook mumbled, diligently wiping the black electric stove.

I couldn't help but chuckle at his half-asleep rambling.

"I will sleep right after I eat, everyone. I will eat and say goodbye. I will say bye. I am so hungry," he continued, his dedication to the impromptu broadcast apparent.

He retrieved a plastic bag, placing its contents on the table for the viewers to see.

"What I prepared is... Perilla seed seaweed. Oats and brown konjac rice. These are all dietary foods. And... I brought the wrong one. Fried rice... Fried rice! Fried rice..." He kept stuttering, creating a moment of amusement for the viewers.

"Simple vegetables fried rice" I interjected, helping him clarify. He snapped his fingers in realization, a sheepish smile crossing his face.

The viewers in the comments section erupted with laughter and emojis, enjoying the candid and slightly chaotic cooking session.
