"Sidd I don't wanna be late on my first day. Let me go." Ishika said who was tangled in Sidd's embrace.
Instead of letting go, Sidd tightened his hold and mumbled. "just 10 more minutes."
"you keep sleeping for an hour more but let me go. I have to wear a saree, it takes me ages to wrap one."
Finally, Sidd let her go. She collected her stuff and rushed to the washroom. While she was bathing, Sidd opened YouTube to learn how to wrap a saree.
Ishika came out of the washroom in a bathgown, a towel around her hair.
Sidd kept his phone aside and went towards her. He undid her towel and blow-dried her hair.
"I can do this on my own Sidd."
"But I love to help my Jaan."
After he was done, he said "you wear the blouse and the skirt, then I'll help you with the saree."
"Do you know how to drape a saree?"
"yes, Youtube helped."
"you are the best husband, Mr Rathore."
"Ab late ni hora aapko Mrs Rathore. Go and get changed. Chop chop." Sidd said trying to cover his blush.
Ishika pecked his cheek and to the washroom.
With Sidd's help, Ishika was done with her saree. She was looking beautiful like always.

"Sidd, you go and freshen up while I do my hair and get ready."
"Ok Jaan wait for me, we will go down together."
While Ishika was done doing her hair, putting on some subtle make-up and wearing her jewellery, Sidd was also ready by then.
"Sidd can you put this for me?" Ishika asked him while handing him vermillion.
"I'll do this for the rest of my life," he said while applying it to her hair partition. Then he pecked her forehead.
"You are looking so beautiful and so mine.
Wait let me give you your gift. I wanted to give it yesterday but didn't get the chance." Sidd told her and went to the walk-in closet and brought the peacock anklet that he had designed for her.
He got on his knees and clasped the anklet around her ankle.
"Thank you Sidd. It's so beautiful."
"Come, let's go."
They both went downstairs. With the rest of the family, they offered their morning prayers to God and then touched the feet of all the elders.
When she touched bua's feet, Bua ji said, "Aaj tumhari pehli rasoi hai, bin maa ki ladki ho, kuch banta bhi tumse."
