Ishika's pov

He said,

"I made a wish and you came true."

He kissed my earlobe, removed his hand from my waist and mouth, and then moved a step back.

Wait, this voice. Of course, I know this voice. I have been talking to him daily for more than a month now.

[who all guessed it would be him]

I quickly turned around and hugged the hell out of Sidd.

"U- you mad man, you scared the shit out of me. I'll kill you." I shouted at him while hitting his chest and arms.

"Forgive me my feisty kitten. I just wanted to surprise you."

"I love your surprise."

"Even you surprised me, girl, it was the first time I heard you cursing."

"Oh shoot. Don't you dare tell Bhai"

"what if I do"

"then you'll give me 3 reasons to be angry at you."

"Oh, what are the other two?

"one, you lied to me and didn't even talk to me properly for a whole day.
Two, the way you scared me right now."

"sincere apologies to you my queen, I won't dare to offend you any further."

"Good boy," I said laughing and again we hugged each other. In his arms, I felt complete. Like he was some missing piece of my puzzle and now that we are together, he fits so well.

We moved away from each other when we heard someone clearing their throat.
When I turned towards the sound, I was surprised and embarrassed.
There stood both of our families grinning at us.

"Now shy are we, Ishki? Bhai teased me

I ignored him and went to Uncle Aunty, I greeted them and touched their feet.

'Khamma gani uncle aunty."

"Ghani khamma beta. Ishika, you are our daughter now so call us mom and dad like Radhika does. And beta, daughters don't touch feet they touch your hearts." Aunty, I mean Mom said and gave me a warm hug.
So did Dad.

Then I met with Karthik Bhaiya and Radhika Di.

"Bhabhi please don't address us as bhaiya and didi."

"But you are older than me."

"Radhika is not and we are both younger than bhai, toh rishte mi aap hum se badi hai isiliye, please call us by our names."

"Okay devar ji," I said while chuckling and Karthik groaned.

"where are Dadu sa and Dadi sa?"

"beta, they are in Jaipur only as you know they don't prefer travelling much,"
Papa answered my question.

"Now shall we start our Christmas party?" Sidd asked and everyone hooted and cheered.

"Close your eyes, baby." Sidd slowly whispered in my ear while he was standing behind me.

"Why me? Why I am getting this special treatment?"

"Because you are most special, my queen." he again whispered and now I was blushing hard. His words melted my heart.

"Because Ishki this is your last Christmas as a Maheswari and first with the Rathore family." Brinda Bhabhi answered.

Then Sidd closed my eyes with his hand. After 2 minutes he leaned closer and whispered in my ear again,

"Merry Christmas, Ishu." then he removed his hand. I was shocked when I saw my surroundings. The whole lawn was brightly lit. It was so pretty and magical.

I noticed around, that everyone except me and Sidd was wearing white. Sidd wore a black suit with a black shirt. He was looking hot.

"This is all so beautiful, Sidd. Like a dream."

"I promise to bring all your dreams to reality, Ishu."

We were lost looking into each other's eyes when soft music played.

"May I?" he extended his hand and asked me for a dance.

I kept my hand on his and said
"you may, but let me warn you I am not a good dancer and will probably end up stepping on your shoes."

"I'll let you stand my feet for my whole life if I get to hold you in my arms."

"Sidd what did you have for lunch today? You are being too cheesy. And stop making me blush in front of everyone." He laughed and pulled me to dance with him.

I danced to 2 songs with him. Then I danced with bhai, Papa and Karthik as well. Then Radhika also insisted on dancing with me, so we did it.

I was sooooo tired. Papa noticed that and said that we should all have dinner now.
The hotel staff arranged the dining table right beside the Christmas tree. It was a wonderful eve.
