Siddharth's pov

It's been half an hour of me standing in the wedding hall, eagerly waiting for just a single glance of my Jaan. I can't even imagine how beautiful my queen will look in bridal attire.

All our wedding functions were held in a private setting. Only family and close friends were invited. We kept the news silent from the media to protect Ishika from their hawk eyes. Being the most eligible bachelor and the billionaire of the year, the media is always tailing around me. I am accustomed to it but it'll be all too overwhelming for Ishika.

I don't want my wife to run to the hills on the first day of our wedding. So not even my employees know anything, for them, I am just in Jaipur for some family vacation.

Finally, the long wait was over as I heard the beautiful song playing, indicating the arrival of my beautiful bride.

Enchanted.

I was enchanted looking at her. The word beautiful did no justice to the beauty in front of me. Ishika. Wow. She was looking like a porcelain doll, walking down the aisle holding her brother's hand. She was looking on the floor in shyness but her cheeks were coloured in natural pink. Looking at my angel, I forgot to breathe, my eyes forgot to blink, my heart skipped a beat, and my jaw dropped open.

I don't know what good deed I have done in my life to get Ishika as my better half. She is the most stunning person, inside out. I am blessed to have her as my wife.

I was lost in her when someone shook me. Rudra.
"Bhabhi ko dekhta hi rahega ya jaakar help bhi karega."

Then I realised that she was about to climb the stairs. I rushed towards her and both Samrat Bhai and I helped her manage her super heavy lehenga.

As we reached the centre of the stage, Bhai handed her hand to me and whispered in my ear.
"mi tumhe apni jaan de raha hu, dhyaan rakhna"

"aapki jaan mere jeene ki wajah hai bhai," I said to him. He patted my back then hugged Ishu and went down the stage.

"I am standing beside you, and still you are looking at the floor

"I am standing beside you, and still you are looking at the floor. Is it more interesting than me?" I said teasing Ishu because she hadn't lifted her eyes from the floor yet.

"Stop joking Sidd. I am so nervous, all the eyes are on us. It's like people are scanning us."

That's why the media was not informed about this alliance.

"Ishu, look at me. It is our day today don't let anyone ruin it for us. For me everything other than you is secondary. If you want we can run away from here and peacefully get married in a temple. As long as I get to be yours, I'll be a happy man."

"I love you Sidd."

"I Love you more Sidd ki jaan. Wese aaj aap bahut bahut khoobsurat lag rahi hai. Aap humse nazre milla ni rahi aur hum aapse nazre hatta ni pa rahe."

"Aap bhi bahut handsome lag rahe hai Sidd."

This was the first time she complimented me. Meri Shy Ishq is getting bolder.

After some time, we were asked to exchange garlands and a few other rituals were performed.

Then we were made to sit in front of the holy fire, while Panditji was enchanting some mantras.

Bri bhabhi tied both of our dupattas as Panditji asked us to stand up and take seven rounds around the fire. Each round signified a vow that we made to each other.

Taking this holy fire as a witness, today I vow to always love, respect and protect my wife. My promise to always stay loyal to her and always support her. I'll be hers till death do us part. I repeated this promise in my heart looking in my love's eyes.

Her doe-like eyes were filled with unshed tears. And mine were filled with unsaid promises.

We both settled back and Panditji handed me a mangalsutra to tie around her neck. Followed by a sindoor that was to be filled in her hair partition.

While I was putting sindoor on her forehead, some of it went on her nose. As I was about to wipe it, she held my hand, looked into my eyes slowly shook her head and said
"It's auspicious, we can't wipe it."

"rehne do Siddharth, it's a good luck." Bri Bhabhi said.

Aaj se aap dono pati patni hai. Jaake sabhi baado ka aashirwaad le.

Finally, I was dying to listen to these words from the first day I met Ishika.

We touched the feet of all the elders. It was a very emotional moment when Ishika parted from her brother. Everyone was sad seeing tears in Samrat bhai's eyes. He is always so strict and no-nonsense person and seeing him cry today wrenched our hearts.

I assured him that I'd always be there for his Ishki and this would be the last time that she had sad tears in her eyes.

After bidaai, we all left in our cars for Rathore mansion.

A long but perfect day.
Now I am a married man, a husband.
I have a wife, my Ishq.
A girl who changed her city and left her family just to be with me.

I hope I never disappoint her.
