I flail my arms around for a minute, trying to feel for the silicone case my phone is in.

I feel a sense of unease while reading the message from my mum. I decide to take a break and brush my teeth before replying. What could be the reason for her message? Did I do something wrong? After spitting out the toothpaste, I noticed blood mixed in with it. I examine my gums in the mirror and realise that my 'little' smoking habit may not be helping. Regardless, I don't care. I grab the pack and crack open my window, sitting on the sill and finally opening my messages.
