One day later....

The whole palace was in hurry. Every corner of Janak Puri was decorated delightfully and all the members of royal family was dressed super formally and elegantly. Because Maharaj Dashrath was going to arrive at Mithila today.

Ram, Lakshman, Bharat and Shatrughna including Maharshi Yagyanvalkya and Brahmarshi Vishwamita had also arrived at the palace before time to welcome the mighty Raghuvanshi king. The four princes were super excited to meet their father... as well as the four princesses. They have heard about king Dashrath's help to Mithila in it's bad days. So it was their heartly desire to meet him and thank him soulfully.

All the people were standing in a perfectly arranged manner. Maharaj Janak and Maharani Sunaina wete at the front. On their left, Kushadhwaja and Chandrabhaga were standing with some other members of the family. On their right, Prime minister Chakrabahu, Rajpurohit Shatanand and other members of the court were waiting patiently to welcome the Maharaj Dashrath.
On a separate row, right next to Janak, the Maharshi and Brahmarshi were standing calmly with some of their deciples and followers. Behind them Bharat, Lakshman and Shatrughna were standing and Ram was standing at the front since he the centre of the event.

Just minutes later the four gorgeous princesses arrived at the gate, where people had gathered for the welcome ceremony. As planned before, Sita went to stand near Ram, because she is also the main reason behind the ceremony. And the rest three princesses stood behind Janak and Sunaina.... just on same line as the three younger Princes.

An beautifully dressed Shrutkirti had a new smile on lips. She quickly glanced at Shatrughna and immediately returned her gaze back to her feets, when she realised that his eyes were already upon her. Bharat started pinching Shatrughna when he also caught him staring at the youngest princess with wide open irises. He smiled and tried to hide his soft red cheek, just like what Shrutkirti was doing.

Not so accidentally Mandvi's gaze also met Bharat. He passed a quirky smile and she rolled her eyes with a smirk by flipping her hair back. A thin smile translucently blossomed on her face as well which was unnoticed by everyone..... except Bharat.

Today Urmila's heart was pounding on the rhythm of fullfilled love. And it's beating was on the pick as well because her soulmate... the third Prince of Ayodhya was present near her. The deep discussion, which she did with herself for whole night had brought her to the only conclusion that Lakshman also has feelings for her. Even she could be wrong for some instances but Ram had said the exact same thing to Sita as well. And the world knows... Ram could never be wrong about Lakshman. So it was crystal clear to her that Lakshman also has feelings towards her.

The unstoppable urge inside her dancing heart made her look at his direction. Her eyes were craving for the sight of his softened gaze and gorgeous pale face along with the mesmerizing smile, which she was seeing more often in recent days.
But exactly opposite from her expectations, Lakshman was not looking at her. The fierce gaze was back to her golden brown eyes after many days. He was standing like a immovable mountain beside Bharat and Shatrughna.... unbothered about their teasing and chatting. His eyebrows were looking more arched, the vein on his half exposed forehead was slightly visible and both of his hands were locked with eachother at his back. His long hair were continuously swiping on his face and blocking his sight, which can be irritating for anyone. But he wasn't even fixing his hair by running his fingers through it... which he usually does. He was just staring at the path extended infront of him with a cold gaze... as if his eyes had turned into some icy cold stones.... not even his iris was moving a little.

Urmila frowned... as she didn't expect this expression of Lakshman.... especially on the welcome ceremony of his father. She couldn't even understand if it's just her misunderstanding or he is actually looking that mad. Still she ignored. And focused on what others were focusing upon...
