"Ok, we'll keep her for today and tonight and you guys can come by in the morning," Emily suggested with Penelope in her arms.

"Perfect!" Teo said the same smile had not left his lips.

"Okay, we love you guys! Stay out of trouble and use protection!" Connor broke in, as we waved goodbye and started walking back to our apartment.

As they closed the door Teo spun us back around.

"Nope," He said pulling me back towards the stairs and towards the exit of the building.

"Where are we going?" I asked laughing.

He looked back at me smiling, "I think you know where do you have the keys?" We approached the car.

"Yeah," I muttered pulling them out of my jacket's pocket and handing them to him.

"Thanks," He unlocked the car and jogged in front of me letting go of my hand and opening the car door for me, "hop in beautiful."

I shook my head laughing as he smirked at me while stepping into the car.

"Thanks," I said looking up at him as he closed the door and jogged back over to the other side quickly hopping in.

"I take kisses as payment," He said cheekily.

I pecked his lips softly, but he didn't take that as enough, he crashed his lips into mine and gave me a deep kiss, I pulled away after a while to catch my breath.

"Dang," He said out of breath, "I missed that so much." His words made my stomach flip.

I felt my cheeks heat up as I stared right at him. He winked quickly and playfully making me laugh.

"Drive!" I suggested as I pointed out at the road.

"Right!" He stretched out the word as he finally started driving, "Hold on babe! I've learned quite a few tricks!"

I laughed as we drove off to wherever this crazy boy was taking me.

"Hey, were here." Teo shook me awake smiling.

"Sorry." I apologized as I realized that I must have fallen asleep once again, "I haven't been sleeping well lately."

He chuckled, "Yeah I can tell."

I finally looked up at where we were and recognized the trees immediately.

I turned towards him, only to find him already looking at me with admiration spread all over his face.

"I'll race you." His smile widened as he immediately nodded.

We both pushed our doors open as we shot out of the car and hurled towards our little getaway.

We dodged the many trees that seemed to block out the sky, and I realized that when we were here together everything was greener everything was alive.

We finally reached the beach stumbling to stop running, Teo sped up and stood in front of me as I took that as a hint to keep running and crash into him, sending him down with all my force.

We both landed on the floor laughing hysterically.

Once we calmed down I turned to look at Teo who had stopped laughing seconds before me.

"This is what I fought for, and you are what kept me alive," He reassured.
