Christina

"Why aren't you home?" My voice shook a little.

"I had to stay here... to protect you guys." He said softly, almost choking on his own words.

"Why? Did I do something wrong to my dad or something." my hands went up to my forehead.

"Not really, no, I kind of got into a lot of trouble with some guy, and I needed you to go home with Pen so you would be safe." He explained.

"Teo what the hell! What did you do?"

"I can't tell you. Yet, I have to get home first. "He insisted.

"You can't just hide this from me!" I insisted.

"I have to go." he spoke quickly as his voice dropped.

"Wha-"

"I love you so much baby don't give up on me yet, please," He begged.

"I won't, I would never."

"Promise?" His voice was unsure.

"Of course I promise." I reassured him.

After a short pause, he spoke softly, "I love you." He repeated.

"And I you, my "unknown" caller," I spoke into the phone.

He chucked a little and then quickly said he'd call me back, then he hung up and emptiness estates building up in me once again.

I sighed and made my way to my room unsure of what to do.

I looked around at the pictures I had hung up on Teo and me they made me sad.

What hurt most want that he was gone and God knows if he was coming back home?

Suddenly the doorbell rang making me jump back in fear as I slowly made my way back to the door.

I looked through the peeping hole to see a guy standing there waiting.

I was unsure of what to do or who this man was so I cracked the door open a little and stared at him, he just stared at the ground.

"Hi?" I mumbled. Making the guy look up from his clipboard, once he lauded his eyes on me he almost dropped his clipboard and his mouth hung a little open.

"Hey," he said as he ran his hands though his soft blond hair as if he was nervous.

"Um." I tried to gesture at him so he could continue what he was going to say.

"Oh! Yeah! Sorry, I've got a flower delivery service, for Christina Morgan." He announced.

"That would be me." I said in a confused tone.

Who on earth would send flowers right now? No one that I know of would take their tine to send flowers.

I decided to ask, "Who are the flowers from?"

He finally detached his eyes from me and looked at his clipboard, "Tio Halm."

"It's Teo, like Tayo, but it's T- E - O." I explained not realizing what he had said.

"Yep, that guy." He let out a small laugh.

"Oh wait, that guy?" I said quickly as if trying to understand.

"Yep."

"No."

"I'm pretty sure it says Teo Halm," He informed me.

"Wait really?" I asked as he handed his clipboard to me.

As I read the email address I knew it was Teo, I smiled softly as I handed it back to him.

"Lucky guy." The delivery guy said softly.

"Wrong." I answered, he gave me a questioning look, as I pointed at myself, "Lucky girl."

He smiled widely, "come on, any guy would be lucky to have a girl like you."

"Thanks." I said shyly as I felt a heat creep up to my cheeks.

"So, where is this lucky guy?" He asked as he signed a couple of the delivery papers.

"I don't know." I answered truthfully.

"Then you deserve better." He pointed out.

I shook my head no.

"Oh well, I'm going to go get the flowers and stuff." He motioned as he walked away not waiting for a response from me.

As I waited I thought about his words, was he hitting on me? Why? And why would he say that I deserved someone better.

If anything, Teo deserved someone better, someone who would go after him when they couldn't find him: someone who wasn't like me.
