He continues to call me Bee all the time, he still kisses me so perfectly, we fight over who loves the other more, and while we may not have everything in common like movies and TV shows, he'll still sit on the couch, wrap his arm around me, and watch what I want without a complaint. And sometimes, he turns out to like it.
Although we'll have plenty of money to live on, Jungkook has a job as an artist. He paints and sells his art as well as performing a few live shows when he uses graffiti to create something astonishing. He's starting to get a name around the art world now, and some people have noticed the similarities between his art and the art he did in the city, but he's stayed quiet on the matter.
If someone wanted to dig up the past and know if he is the Street Killer, it wouldn't be too easy considering the government, in exchange for our silence about the prison, removed every detail of media coverage placed on all of us since. While I'm sure hackers such as Jin could find photos and newspaper articles about Jungkook, it hasn't happened, and I'm sure it's unlikely.
While Jungkook paints in his free time, I'm more concerned with taking it easy until I've fully healed. Now, I do sit around and read books from time to time, but as far as figuring out what I want to do with the rest of my life, it hasn't come to mind yet.
But that's okay. I have plenty of time to decide, and I know Jungkook will support me in whatever I decide to do.
Over the last year, we've kept in touch with close friends and family. A lot has changed for everyone, and it's changed for the best. However, some things remain the same.
Barbie and Jimin tied the knot a few months after their baby girl was born. Jungkook and I flew down to attend their wedding, and I'll admit I bawled like a baby. It was so perfect and beautiful. If anything, I could tell they were brought even closer than before, and I knew it was the same for Jungkook and me.
They moved out of the city shortly after that, and they're living in the countryside. They have a big ranch and plenty of room to be free where they don't have to worry about trespassers. They're absolutely happy, and I couldn't be happier for them.
As for Taehyung, he's about to release his first book. Since therapy, he found his calling through the craft of writing and decided to write a memoir about his life. Of course, he had to leave out certain aspects, but he wrote his story and was able to express his feelings strongly through his words.
He wrote about Twix a lot, mentioned a lot of people, and even myself. I was the first person to receive a copy of the book before its publication, which is set in a few short weeks, and I almost teared up when I saw Taehyung had dedicated the book not only to Twix but to me as well.
Yoongi moved to Canada after he received his check, and his girlfriend moved into his place not too long ago. I assume they're going to work out because every time Yoongi and I video call, he won't shut up about her, but it's sweet, and we pick at each other because I do the same about Jungkook. It's amazing how our friendship hasn't faltered throughout this process, and neither has Barbie and I.
Acid will be released in another two years for good behavior. She's inside a good prison, so luckily she doesn't have to endure what most of us had to. I saw her about two months ago, and we got caught up. She told me one of the male guards had been checking her out lately, and she liked him. However, when she told him that she was going to be in prison for another two years, he told her he would wait.
