Sweetie: (shocked) What!? How could my owner melt!?
Rocky: We've got no idea!
(Katie and the Princess of Barkingburg are now invisible and floating behind them)
Katie: (grabs Ryder's pup-pad) I've come back to haunt you Ryder!
Princess of Barkingburg: (grabs Sweetie's crown) I've come back to haunt you Sweetie!
Sweetie: (scared) But I've done nothing wrong this time!
Katie: We will still haunt you forever!
Group: (screams as they run off)
Zuma: I'm starting to think I should've joined Marshall, Everest, and Skye!
Rocky: Me too!
Sweetie: Agreed! Even if I've got no idea what they're doing at the moment!
(the group runs off in different directions)
Katie: I'll toy with Ryder and Chase while you handle Sweetie!
Princess of Barkingburg: I've got an idea!
(scene changes to Mason, Everest, Mirage, Skye, and Marshall having a peaceful dinner at a diner which Mason paid for)
Marshall: Thanks again Mason!
Mason: No problem pups!
Everest: I wonder how everyone else is doing?
Skye: Know the girls, they might try having spooky fun like we did!
Marshall: If they do, I'm glad we decided to spend time hanging out instead!
(scene splits to show Katie shape-shifting into a yellow rubber ball with a pink stripe and star while the princess changes into a gray and white beach towel)
Katie and Princess of Barkingburg: (to herself) This will be good!
(scene switches to Sweetie hiding in a bathroom)
Sweetie: (shivering) I sure hope their ghosts can't find me in here?
Princess of Barkingburg's voice: You sure about that?
Sweetie: (looks around) Princess? (notices a gray and white beach towel) Where did that beach towel come from?
(the beach towel moves on its own and ensnares Sweetie)
Sweetie: (shouts) Hey! What's going on?
Princess of Barkingburg's voice: I've captured you Sweetie!
Sweetie: Princess! I beg you to reconsider!
Zuma: (enters the bathroom) Anyone here dudes? (notices the floating beach towel with something inside) Whoa!
Sweetie's voice: (scared) Zuma help me!
Sound: (gulp)
(the beach towel opens revealing nobody inside)
Zuma: (gasps) That ghost just swallowed Sweetie!
Princess of Barkingburg's voice: I've got room for a second pup!
Sweetie's voice: Run for it Zuma!
Zuma: (runs away) (screaming) The ghosts have a taste for pups, dudes!
Princess of Barkingburg's voice: (giggles)
(scene changes to Katie in her rubber ball four chasing after Ryder who is by himself)
Ryder: Why won't the girls stop haunting us?
Katie's voice: We have unfinished business with you and the pups!
