Chapter 07

Author's POV.
Although Devansh slept late after deciding his outfit, he woke up at 5:00 a.m in the morning.

Sighing he decided to fresh up and go to his gym.
Spending almost 3 hours in his big, spacious, personalized gym, he decided to go back to his room.

Done with showering, he decided to go check up on his grandparents.

Devansh knocked at their door and went in, not forgetting to get their haldi doodh with him.

"Good morning dadu, good morning dadi", he said and took their blessings.

"May god bless you beta". Indrajeet and Gayatri blessed them, by then Alok and Pooja, Sanjay and Rekha entered everyone took blessings of the older couple.

All the youngsters too joined them in the dining area.
Shourya and Veer were busy teasing Meera, who ran to her brothers Devansh and Arnav for her rescue.

"Arey aaram se meera".Sameeksha said in concern.
"Yesh buui", Arhaan said with his big bambi eyes.

And everyone chuckled.

Devansh POV.
Wearing my blue kurta and white pants, gelled my hair back.
"Ok, I look presentable". I grinned to myself, and went downstairs.

It's 4:30 p.m now and we all are set to go to the Rawat Mansion.
Finally lord.

On the way to their place, my mind was still filled with "What will happen there, how will it be, She will be there right?, "How will I get to talk to her?", I sighed.

Which mom noticed and asked
"All ok, Dev?"
"Yes mom, no worries".
And she smiled at me and continued to talk with chachi ji.

Me, mom, chachi ji, dadi and Veer were in my car.
Dad, dadu, chachaji were coming with Shourya in his car.
and Arnav bhaiya, Sameeksha bhabhi, Meera and Arhaan were coming in one car.

We all reached the Rawat Mansion around 5:30 p.m.
As expected I was again amazed by the Mansion,lights were on, while walking in I saw how beautiful the garden was decorated, not too grand and not too simple, just perfect.

Mansion was filled with people but not many, I could know they were important as only few were there.

Going in Shikhar uncle and Mohan uncle greeted, welcoming us.
Soon Sonali aunty joined us.

"Happy diwali everyone, and welcome", Sonali aunty said.
"Happy diwali beta, and the house is beautifully decorated", dadu said to which uncle smiled and told
"Yes, my daughter aakriti took care of it".
"Aakriti did a good job", dadi smiled.
Me, Nikunj and Nihaal had a short talk.

Ok now I want to meet her badly.
Heck meet, I wanna see her.

The pooja was about to start when aunty called her. I was looking from where she would come, by then a girl passed from my side and stood in the front next to Nikunj.

I frowned not remembering anyo-
Shit, "She's aakriti" realization hit me.

Okay, now my hands are sweating, waiting, why am I nervous now.
Shooing away my thoughts, I tried to concentrate on the pooja.

Note the keyword tried.

But, I'm not able to look at her face, I don't know how and why am I staring at her?

She looked back with her peripheral vision and our eyes locked, and not even a second she looked away.

But I couldn't.

Her eyes, her soulful eyes, her deep black orbs which looked at mine.
I couldn't help but smile.

Pooja was now done.
She went straight and was giving prasad to everyone, she now came near me.

Near you or near your family.
My mind mocked me.
Whatever, I said back, and focused.

Veer is covering her, and I am not able to look at her, I sulked silently.

"Excuse me", a sweet voice broke me from the chain of thoughts.
I looked in the front and, my heartbeat rose.

I was staring at her, her long black hair, her blue lehenga, her natural beauty, oh she looked venust.

Arnav bhaiya nudged me and I came out of my thoughts again.
I smiled and took the prasad, she smiled and went away.

Later I waited for her, but she was nowhere to be seen. That's sad, I sighed.

It was now time to go back home as we already had our dinner.
I couldn't see Aakriti tho, but I really wanted to see her.

I couldn't do anything as we drove off, back to home, but I saw Meera talking to her, I'll somehow get if she has aakriti's number.

Yes!!!!
