Kuch Dard Ka maara tha shayad
Kuch khudse haara tha shayad
Logon ki bheed main tha lekin
Wo Apno ko tarsa tha shayad
Kuch jurm Nahi tha uska par
Pal Pal wo tarpa tha shayad

(Written by me, for someone very special ❤️)

The dusty sky soon hides under the blanket of darkness embedded by millions of stars and the moon that looks as alone as the person who was sitting under its radiant light.

Sitting outside in a comfortable swing with a book and a picture in her hand for hours. She didn't even notice when the sun sink perfectly into the earth in a blaze of gorgeous pink and gold. And when the skies embrace the beauty of silver and dark hues to give a peaceful night.

But she was not feeling peaceful, yet again her fingers traces the lines written on the white part of the old Polaroid picture.

It was not the picture that shocked her, but the words written on its back, and she still can't forget how she got this one.

'Don't believe his lies. He needs you.

P.s. I saved your number in his phone. He didn't know. Xxx-xxxxxxxx is his number... Saved it, you will need it.

P.p.s. I am sorry.'

She sighed heavily as she closed her eyes leaning back in the swing as she remembered how Sanam barged in her room, putting this in her hand, hugging her tightly, and with one last 'sorry' mumbled, she left the room and a very confused Mannat behind.

And if that was not enough to ruin her mental peace, she saw what Sanam left in her hand, only to get a shock when she noticed the old Polaroid of her nikkah day.
