"I know something you don't."

"Crap!" I jumped from my desk where I had basically been dozing off when Fred appeared behind me, his mouth way too close to my neck.

"Andrews." Our teacher, Mr Teagan looked at me sternly.

We were supposed to be reading silently and of course my brain translates that into taking a quick nap.

"Sorry." I mouthed.

A few of my classmates snickered.

Mr Teagan, who probably couldn't be bothered with anything but the magazine he was hiding in his text book simply gave me a stern look and shook his head before returning to whatever it was that was keeping him occupied.

Luckily he had headphones on. Teacher of the year, am I right?

I turned around and saw Fred grin.

I straightened and muttered under my breath before turning to face him.

"What the hell?" I hissed.

He still had a stupid smile on his face.

Dean who was seated on the desk next to him looked up curiously.

I shook my head at Fred. "Is there a reason you chose to invade my personal space this morning or are you just on a new level of inappropriate?"

Fred was grinning like an idiot.

I was starting to worry.

I studied him and furrowed my brows.

I turned to Dean. "What's up with him?"

Dean just shrugged.

I turned back to Fred wanting to ask why he was acting like a crazy person when something caught my eye.

Cindy sat, about two desks away from me, her phone was on her lap and she was texting furiously.

I guess I'm not the only one who had neglected the reading.

"Wondering who she's texting?" Fred whispered.

He looked way too smug as he leaned back in his seat.

I stared at the empty seat next to Cindy where Golden boy usually sat.

I wanted to ask a million questions but Mr Teagan looked up at me and I had to pretend like I was focused on the reading.

I counted down the minutes until the bell rang.

I looked at Cindy but she just quickly grabbed her stuff and left the room.

Of course she would be avoiding me.

People started filing out rushing to the next class but I just remained settled and looked at Fred.

I rose my brows.

"Okay, what is it?"

Dean peered over at us having already gotten up.

"You guys coming?" He asked.

My eyes remained fixed on Fred.

"Nah man, you go ahead, we're gonna need a minute."

Dean looked between the two of us skeptically.

He then raised his finger looking like he was about to say something but decided against it.

He muttered to himself about not wanting trouble before lunch and walked away.
