Since yesterday, I have been feeling nervous. Simula kasi kahapon hindi pa nagpaparamdam si K. Wala naman unsent sa messages, kaya mas doble ang pagkakaba ko.

Wait? Why am I so worried? I simply asked her to meet me, right? It's normal because we work together on my story. Masiyado na naman akong nag o-overthink.

Dismayado akong nakatingin sa monitor ko ng wala rin email galing kay K. Bagsak ang mga balikat na sumubsob ako sa desk habang ang kamay ko pinaglalaruan ang keyboard.

Maybe she's busy? Or kaya naman umatras na?

Bakit kasi overthinker ako? Hindi ko tuloy maiwasan mag-isip ng kung ano-ano. It's obvious that she's busy. It's not like she has to respond to every text I send her.

The moment my phone vibrated, I instantly popped up. I picked up my phone from next to my speaker, which had turned my screen around. Laking tuwa ko nang makita ko na galing kay K ang text. Kahit kinakabahan ay nae-excite na binuksan ko ang text niya.

Totoo ba 'tong nababasa ko? Pumayag siya? Hindi makapaniwala na tinignan ang text niya. Magre-reply na sana ako nang may natanggap na naman akong message mula sa kaniya.

Would you like to meet tomorrow? I'm free.

Hindi ko napigilan ang sarili na mapatili. Kinuha ko pa ang reading glasses ko to make sure that I read it right.

Okay Bella, relax.

Huminga ako ng malalim bago nag-reply sa kaniya.

"Yes, of course. Saan mo gusto mag meet?" I pressed the send button.

Hindi na naalis sa screen ang mata ko sa kakahintay sa reply niya. I have no idea why I get so excited whenever I get a text from her.

I heard of the place but I've never been there. I don't want to say no to her, baka ibahin niya pa. I want to be the one who will adjust for her. I want to be the one who makes the necessary adjustments for her. Nakakahiya if siya pa, ako naman ang may kailangan. And besides nandiyan naman si google madali lang i-search.

I typed the location's name into the search bar. Agad naman lumabas ang result buti na lang hindi pabagal bagal ang net ngayon.

Napakunot ang noo ko nang makita ko kung saan banda ito. Why hadn't I realized the location was right next to the hospital where Yas's mother works? I just went there two weeks ago to visit tita Fene.

Am I that oblivious of my surroundings?

After ko mag-search ay agad akong nag-reply sa kaniya. "Yep. What time are you free?"

Napangiti ako nang agad naman itong nag-reply.

After lunch?

Nakahinga ako ng maluwag dahil wala akong class that time. "Alright, see you tomorrow then." Reply ko.

I wanted to talk to her more, but she had already said goodnight because she was so tired that her eyes couldn't keep up with her. Di bale magkikita naman na kami bukas.
