"Hello?"

"Jagiya, where are you?"

"Home."

"Can I come over?"

"Yeah."

You kept down your phone and stared at your computer screen, playing a shooter game. You sighed as you shot the players of the opposing team, and sighed despite your team winning the round.

The doorbell rang.

You announced to your team that you'd be AFK, and then stood up and got the door. Standing in front of you was your towering Korean boyfriend, Yong Soo, who sported on his face a smile so wide that it livened up your dull spirits somewhat.

"Jagiya," he cooed, pulling you in his arms, "Why were you sounding so down on the phone? Did something happen? I brought some spicy ramen for us to eat together."

"Something did happen," you snuggled in his chest and put your arms around him, "I'm glad you're here."

Both of you pulled away and headed to your room. Yong Soo sat down on your bed, which was right next to your desk, and you sat next to him. He put his arm around you and pulled you closer.

"Tell me what's wrong." he whispered, caressing your hair while you snuggled against his chest.

"School has been tough lately." you sighed, "My grades have plummeted and I feel sick because of it."

You were in your final year of college. Yong Soo, who was a year elder than you, had only finished college last year and had already landed a good job from the campus selection since he was a brilliant student.

But that didn't stop him from having compassion for you in your academic struggles.

"I see." he played with your hair, "I'm so sorry. It sounds really tough."

"It is." you sighed heavily, "I feel so stressed and sick that I can't seem to focus on my studies. I just want to game all day and do nothing. But that won't do either because I don't want to be a burden to anyone like this."

You went on a whole rant and he quietly listened to all of it while he rubbed your arm and shoulders. When you finished talking, you let out another heavy sigh.

"Sooya," you grumbled, "What do I even do?"

Yong Soo pulled away from you and stood up. You looked at him.

"Come, let's go." he said.

"Where?"

"I'll make you some ramen. I even have tteokbokki." he answered, "You look like you haven't eaten in days. If you want to be well and have a clear mind to get you out of your worries, you'll have to eat. So come on now, let's go to the kitchen."

He was right. You stood up and followed him to the kitchen. He whipped up two servings of spicy ramen, fried an egg, and added some tteokbokki, sausages, and sliced cheese to the ramen broth.
