Our auditorium isn't like any other school auditorium, it's big and the stage is in a full oven around the room. Well the room is oval, The stairs to get inside are on the second floor, a large ballroom staircase if you were wondering. For stage lights there is a ceiling room in the auditorium, that's where all the tech things are and the room is about the size of 5 class rooms, open space and all around windows. It's fun to make out in that place sometimes but the elevator to go there is sometimes jammed.
I stay on stage throughout the play but I can go up when my parts are over. I see Fiona stressing out over costumes, Ms.Craw yells at some people upstairs. The boys are scattered around the stage.
"Let's begin!" Ms.Craw yells out from the ceiling room
"How?" Fiona yells at her back
Ms.Craw shrugs and Fiona's frustration grows. "The boys don't know their positions, not everyone's dressed and we only have 4 hours to practice!" Fiona yells at Ms.Craw. I walk over to James
"What part do you have?" I ask him
"Friend of the fashion designers boyfriend or something like that" he says.
"Then who's the Fashion Designers Boyfriend then?" I ask him getting excited
"Charlie" James says plainly.
"What part does Joshua have?"
"Strip club owner"
"I bet he just loved that part didn't he?"
"Sure as hell he was fucking happy"
"What part does Josh have?"
"Male stripper"
I burst into laughter, Josh with no shirt on is the lovely sight sure but he's a total rough player. I continue with questions
"Where did you guys practice?"
"Basement"
"What part is Blake, Anthony, and Christian?"
"Boyfriends to the strippers, you have Anthony though, they look a vote it was either Blake or Anthony"
Anthony is a light skinned boy, clean fresh cut, always in blue, and stands at 5'6. He's a pure athleteand isn't worth the wait if you want him. I leave James saying I'll be right back and I go over to Anthony, I'm like a little girl compared to him. I wave at him and tug at the bottom of his shirt. He looks down and chuckles
"Hi shorty" He greets me. A cute nickname that I live by, cute him.
"Hi, I heard we're partnering up together? Is it a rumor or is it true"
"It's true babe" he says all dreamy eyes and shit
"Oh, well I can't wait to see what parts we have together and what we can do together" I flirt
"I can't wait either" I says checking me out.
I walk away back to James.
"How'd that go?" James asks me
"I'm expecting to get a huge kick out of seeing what he asks me for" I say crossing my arms over my chest.
Fiona and Grace walk over to me. Fiona exhales
"Finally my work is done, all costumes are placed on their racks by person, all fabrics are in the trash, scissors are worn out and I'm wore out as well. All I have to do is watch and get a good rep from the principal and senior year will be the best for me" Fiona says.
"I hate teaching people how to dance, Tia can't dance and Sandy has no sense or direction!" Grace complains. I pat both of the girl on the shoulder.
"All hell with freeze over for the Washington Trip!"
Lola walks over wearing a gray blazer with gray pants. She give us a face is pain
"I hate wearing this" She says painfully
"Looks painful, but hay, I have to dance in high wedges, no pain, no gain, and you're getting extra cred for this too Lols" I inform her
"But still this is hell" She complains and Dustin calls her over. Dustin is my cute cousin, we don't talk much though. Lola leaves us and Fiona goes into the seats followed by Grace. Ally is nowhere to be found though probably off with her other friends, no problem with that honestly. Mark dims the light in ceiling room and Ms.Craw yells out to us
"Positions!" She doesn't notice that we're not ready but all the strippers just go back stage, the scene is currently the Fashion Designer with her Agent. The scene background is a pure brown loft. Beautiful. As we change scene's we all shift around the stage so all the scene's are already put up only dimmed out. If you don't get it still think of it like this, the stage is all around the room so there's only a space in the center for the seats. All the scenes are put of around the stage but the light on all but one scene are lit, the rest of the scenes are in no light at all, very hard to see.
