The Interview!

Chapter 4

"Ew." Jennie says laughing along with Irene but still unable to bring herself to turn around and face the embarrassment.

"Oh, contestant number three." Jisoo says in a softer tone while waggling her brows. She nudges Irene to look and when she does she gives the not bad expression that everyone can read from Irene.

"Contestant number 3?" Jennie questions curiously.

"She's hot!" Jisoo nods her eyes

"She?" Jennie frowns with a smile. "Didn't even know there was a women in here."

"Well, this one is definitely all woman." Irene says. "She looked away when we looked at her."

Irene smirks. "But she was definitely staring."

"I'd pick number three." Jisoo says bringing her drink to her lips. "Shall I look?" Jennie questions.

"She's looking elsewhere at the moment. Look now. four o' clock."

Slowly yet discreetly Jennie turned her head in the exact location Irene told her, eyes scanning for the briefest of moments until her eyes landed on her. Her eyes widened immediately as she spins her head back around.

"Oh. My. God." Jennie cringes shell shocked as she puts her hand in her mouth. "That is so embarrassing," She says shaking her head.

"What?" Jisoo questions "What did I miss?"

"That is my boss." Jennie mumbled through her hands before looking up to her friends.

"No way!" Jisoo says in pure shock before not so discreetly staring at the brunette across the room. "That's bare toes."

"Bare toes?" Jennie furrows.

"Not the point. That's your crush?"

"I do not have a crush."

"Yeah. Ok then, Miss Blush a lot." Jisoo says eyes still eyeing Jennie's boss. "Shall we shout her over?"

"No! No! No! No!" Jennie blurts out quickly pulling Jisoo back down to her seat before she can embarrass her further.

"Well, you can't just ignore her." Jisoo teases. "She knows you're here, she was staring at you faking an orgasm along with old winkie, boldly and picky over there."

"Go say hi!" Irene encourages.

"No." Jennie says turning her head slightly in the direction of her boss. "Whys she even in here, its a dump?"

"Hold on let me just read her mind." Jisoo says pausing for a brief moment for effect. "Nope. Nothing" she shrugs.

"Idiot." Jennie mutters. "I'm just going to say hi, DO NOT move." Jennie orders as she stands up.

It took Lisa a total of three seconds to look at Jennie as she made her way to her table. It took Jennie two seconds to gain her confidence back and approach with a smirk firmly in place as she takes a seat opposite Lisa.

"Enjoy the show?"

"Show?" Lisa questions clearing her throat before sitting straighter.

"Hm," Jennie grins her eyes shifting across Lisa's face aimlessly. "You were staring." She points out smugly.

"I think the whole bar was." Lisa says smoothly like she's waiting for Jennie's point, but Jennie all but smiles and bites her lip. She enjoys a challenge. "Is that something you usually do in a public place?" Lisa questions with a growing smile as she leans on the table. Jennie's eyes can't help but look into her eyes.

"Only on special occasions." Jennie smirks. "are you complaining?" She challenges.

Lisa says nothing for a moment, and Jennie thinks she has her as she watches her swallow while staring into blue eyes confidently.
