"After Zen left you, you made me train countless hours because you expected me to fill in his shoes."

Slenderman nodded. "I made that decision despite the fact I wanted to kill you."

I opened my eyes and faced him again. "What changed?"

"You sacrificed yourself to me. I believed you were bound to me as if I was the person you would protect. You see, the L/N were cursed when-"

"Silas made a deal with a stupid witch." I interrupted him. "Zalgo already told me this."

This explained why he was colder toward me when I brought Sally. When I told them about the urge of wanting to protect her, they knew I was bonded with Sally and not Slenderman like he originally thought.

"Talking about Zalgo, when did you first encounter him?"

Now that I had my memories back, I remembered Zen always warning me about Zalgo before he joined him. Although I had no interaction with Zalgo before my memories were taken, he was still aware of my existence.

"When I finally mastered the ability to keep my thoughts to myself," I confessed. "Zalgo wanted to make sure you didn't know he would visit me from time to time."

Offenderman folded his fists as he leaned closer. "What the fuck did he do?"

"He helped me train because Slenderman had no patience with me. It came to the point where I couldn't take it anymore and was about to jump off a cliff, but Zalgo stopped me before I did it."

Slenderman looked down with shame. He expected me to master skills instantly when it took Zen years. He couldn't believe that his enemy had helped me not to commit suicide when I was little. Zalgo, a demon, had shown more compassion toward me.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Splendor looked at me with his eyes full of concern. "You were just a child. You're not supposed to have those thoughts yet."

"Because I was taught that emotions were weak and that I had to keep my emotions to myself. It came to the point I didn't know what to do with them and I felt like I was a failure. I thought the only solution was not to be here anymore."

The room became silent as we all knew Slenderman had taught me that.

"That's all he did?" Trender broke the silence. "I thought he would do worse."

I shook my head as I remembered the reason why I wanted to kill him in the first place.

"He tortured me with nightmare every night which he did again when he returned, but he also almost-." I felt my voice crack as I looked away from them. It wasn't that I was scared to tell them, but I felt ashamed. For years I thought he had done something only to find out he hadn't.

"What did that fucker do?" Offenderman growled.

"He made me believe he took advantage of me."

Offender had his mouth open in shock.

"The day you banished Zen from the forest because he was in my room, was the same moment Zalgo was about to. Zen prevented him from doing it but by the time Slender popped into the room, Zalgo was gone. Since I passed out when Zen arrived, I only remembered Zalgo pulling my bedsheets away from my body."

"This whole time I thought Zen was going to take you away," Slenderman confessed. "I thought he wanted you to betray me and have you work for Zalgo. That's why I banished him."

"How did you find out Zalgo didn't do anything?" Trenderman leaned forward.

"About a month ago, Zen showed me a vision of what happened."
