Lady Gisela laughed.
It wasn't a happy laugh. It sounded devious, like she knew that she had won.
'For once, the Moonlark makes a good choice.' She said.
She pressed a button, and the ropes tying Biana fell to the ground.
'Keefe!' Biana cried. 'Don't do this!'
'You can't stay trapped!'
Sophie was torn between begging him to stay, or pushing him to leave. Biana was one of her friends! But Keefe... he was...

Lady Gisela coughed. 'You have made your decision and I have made mine. You must keep your end of the bargain. Or I'll maybe take the Moonlark. See how you handle without her.' She said.
'Come, Keefe. I'm the only one who can save you from stellarlune.'
Keefe looked back at his friends. And his more-than-friend.
"I made the right choice." He said.
Biana hugged Dex, then Fitz, then everyone. She was exhausted.
"I can't believe Keefe did that." Biana said.
"He's a true friend." Tam admitted.
"Can we... get out of here?" Marella said.
The group was happy to. They leapt to Everglen.

They had gone back to Everglen, and now had nothing to do.
"Right. Um, should we go home?" Sophie asked.
"Yeah. I think I should rest." Biana agreed.
Everyone packed their bags.
"Next time, we'll plan how to get Keefe back." Fitz spoke up.
"Well, obviously." Dex said.
Sophie agreed. "Yeah."
"But we should all rest now." Maruca said. "It's been a long two days."
The friends said bye to each other, and went home.
Sophie leapt to Havenfield. She said hi to Grady and Edaline. She skillully dodged Edaline's questions. Grady knew what had happened to Biana and Keefe. Apparently Edaline didn't. Grady patted Sophie.
"I'm so sorry." Was all he said. He went away with Edaline to inform her. Sophie could hear her gasp.
Sophie told Sandor she would be in her room.
She closed the door. She lied down on her bed.
And she cried her heart out.
